Lin Guanghui
Professor of Earth System Science Research Center and Institute of global change, Tsinghua University, has been engaged in coastal wetland ecology, global change ecology and stable isotope ecology for a long time. He has published 130 academic papers, and more than 70 SCI papers have been cited by him for more than 1200 times. He was awarded the excellent scientific research team award by the U.S. Department of agriculture.

1992: second prize of Fujian science and technology progress award. 1995: second prize of science and technology progress award of State Education Commission. 2002: US Secretary of agriculture's research team excellence award. 1991: Curtis Award for outstanding postgraduates, University of Miami, USA. 1999: at the invitation of Vice Premier Li Lanqing, as one of 40 overseas Chinese agricultural scientists and overseas Chinese who have made outstanding contributions, he participated in the return visit and seminar jointly organized by the Ministry of science and technology, the Ministry of agriculture, the Ministry of education and the Bureau of foreign experts. 2001: the 1991 paper "Research on calorific value and ash content of several mangrove plants" co authored with Professor Lin Peng was awarded one of the five most cited articles in Journal of plant ecology since its inception. 2001: CCTV's "China News" program also featured Dr. Lin and other overseas students' active participation in China's ecological environment construction. 2002: at the invitation of American Journal of ecological engineering, he wrote a Book Review for "world ecosystem series 20: greenhouse ecosystem". 2002: PBS "Scientific American frontier" of the United States also made a special report on Dr. Lin's research work and achievements in the United States (hosted by the famous American host Alan Alda). 2000: selected as "outstanding youth" of NSFC (category B).
