Lin Yibian was born in Lingchuan Town, Putian County, Fujian Province. His original name was Yujing, which was written in the form of "line" and "Ziquan".

Lin Yibian (the year of birth and death is unknown), formerly known as Yujing, was born in Lingchuan Town, Putian County, Fujian Province. Xianchun seven years (1271) and the eldest son Lin Dong at the same time, Li Guan Zongzheng Temple Book Xuanfu. After Song Dynasty, he refused to be an official in Yuan Dynasty. He died at the age of 72. He was good at Yi, Shu and Chunqiu, and was good at poetry. He was very attentive to Cheng and Zhu's learning. He once gave lectures in Quanshan (now North of Jinjiang county), and was called "Mr. Yujing" by scholars.
