Li Bingjun
Li Bingjun (1904-1938) was born in Leiyang, Hunan Province. He graduated from the fourth higher education class of the Central Military Academy of the Kuomintang.
He was the commander of the 1143 regiment of the 572 brigade of the 98th division of the Kuomintang army. He died in 1938 in Shangrao County, Jiangxi Province.

Sacrifice
After the battle of Wuhan began, he rushed to Eastern Hubei with the division to take part in the battle of Tianjia town. He was ordered to defend the yaoyingling area of Yuanfeng mountain, prevent the enemy from landing in the river and lake, and coordinate with the right-wing friendly forces. After that, the Japanese army broke through the right-wing friendly positions and attacked its defensive area with the advantage of the three armed forces of the sea, land and air. That is to say, he led the troops to fight bravely, fought with the enemy, recovered several times after losing their positions, fought bloody battles for two days and nights, held fast and completed the task of covering the safe transfer of troops in the whole line. In the fierce battle, he was shot in the left cheek, still insisted on commanding, and finally died because of heavy injury. He was 34 years old at that time and was awarded as major general of the army by the national government.
