In the face of danger, Ganzhou City was ordered to repel the Taiping army
In the fifth year of Xianfeng (1855) of the Qing Dynasty, Shi Dakai, a general of the Taiping army, led his troops to invade Jiangxi from Hubei Province, and even conquered Xinchang (Yifeng), Ruizhou (Gao'an), Linjiang (Qingjiang), Ji'an and other places. In February of the next year, troops were sent to Ganzhou. Wang Baorun, the governor of the Qing Dynasty, and Yang Yucheng, the garrison of Ganzhou, hastily gathered troops and generals, and set up the Bajing taipao City, which was held by the city. On March 25, the Taiping army was stationed in Shashi, Shituling in the south of the city and TANKOU in Nankang county. Farmers in huanglali, caisanshan and Fengshan areas responded to the uprising one after another and cooperated with the Taiping army to fight. The military power was greatly boosted. On April 28, the Qing army dispatched Shoushan, the commander-in-chief of Chaozhou, and the magistrate of Nanxiong to reinforce Ganzhou and Nan'an. On the 29th, the Taiping army, divided into two parts, the East and the west, marched into Ganzhou City and camped along the river. Peony Pavilion records
At the Jiaolong Pavilion in mudanting park on the southeast corner of Dayu County, Ganzhou, Jiangxi Province and on the Bank of Zhangjiang River, Yang Yu, the magistrate of Nan'an, was inscribed with the word "Tiehan" during the reign of Tongzhi of the Qing Dynasty.
According to the legend of dressing table, after Du Liniang's death, the grieving Du Bao and his wife built a dressing table beside Li Niang's grave to express their sympathy for their daughter. They placed the dressing articles used in her boudoir in the same way, so that her daughter could enjoy them in the dark. So later generations wrote poems and said:
The wind combs the shadows, and the moon mirrors the sky.
The jade hairpin is still in the old garden.
Another thing to say is that the dressing house was built by later generations to understand the story of Peony Pavilion. Tongzhi in Qing Dynasty
