Yu Kuo, a senior writer, was born in Shaxian County (now Fujian Province). In the sixth year of Xining reign of Shenzong (1073), Jinshi (Volume 14 of Yanping Fu Zhi by Jiajing of Ming Dynasty). At the beginning of Shaosheng, the emperor of zhe Zong judged Qianzhou by fengyilang (New Scripture collection of Chongqing temple in Qianzhou, Volume 19 of Su Shi's complete works).
