Yang Dazhang was a painter of Qing Dynasty.
Profile
During the reign of Emperor Qianlong, he was good at painting mountains and rivers, figures and dragons. His representative works include: Diao Guangyin's sketching book in the 36th year of Emperor Qianlong, Liu Ya Lu Yan's painting in the 44th year of Emperor Qianlong, Jiulong's painting in the 55th year of Emperor Qianlong and Jinling's painting in the 56th year of Emperor Qianlong.
Artistic achievements
It is recorded in the history of Qing Dynasty that "Yang Dazhang, who was also endowed with color and purity, could compete with Zou Yigui. He was good at painting figures, flowers and feathers, occasionally painting landscapes, imitating the Song Dynasty." It shows his high attainments in painting. He is good at painting flowers, and has a great reputation. Often write five color chrysanthemum, ink flower multicolored, have cool and meaningful gas. Some of the paintings use heavy powder to dot the petals, and then use light color cage dyeing. They are bright and neat, elegant in shape and bright in color, which fully show their solid sketching skills.
