Li shaozong (1941 ~), born in Sihong, Jiangsu Province, graduated from Huainan red college in 1966. He is now a teacher of calligraphy compulsory course in the Academic Affairs Office of Huainan Teachers College.
Li shaozong is the executive director of Chinese Calligraphers and Painters Association, director of Chinese Painters Association, member of International Artists Association, member of Anhui Calligraphers Association, member of Anhui seal cutting Research Association, vice chairman of Huainan Calligraphers Association and vice president of Huainan seal printing society. He has participated in 122 calligraphy and art exhibitions at and above the provincial level. Seal cutting won the excellent award and painting won the second prize. His calligraphy works have won the first and second prizes in provincial and national "Dragon Year Cup" and "landscape Cup" calligraphy competitions. His cursive works have participated in Guilin painting and calligraphy exhibition and Ruby painting and calligraphy exhibition. Brush calligraphy participated in the exhibition of famous works of Chinese art circles in 1994. Brush calligraphy won the third prize in the first China Japan calligraphy and painting elite Invitational Competition, and hard pen calligraphy won the third prize in China. Collected by Mao Zedong Memorial Hall, Deng Xiaoping's Former Residence Memorial Hall and other museums, it has carved stones for the Yellow River stele forest in Zhengzhou, Henan, Shenmo stele forest in Gongxian, and Hanyuan stele forest in Kaifeng. Jinshi's calligraphy and painting works have been published in more than 20 newspapers, including people's daily, Liberation Army Daily, Anhui Daily, Xiling art cluster and artists. His works include "contemporary seal society annals", "couplet calligraphy Grand View", "Anhui modern seal cutting anthology" and "three hundred flower chanting poems in the past dynasties" as well as "China's contemporary art celebrities".
