He paid homage to the grand master and gave him a certificate of calligraphy and iron. He had the privilege of "praising and worshiping without fame or death" and supported the move of the capital to Daxing city.

In the first year of Dading in the Northern Zhou Dynasty (579), Li Mu took the destiny as the evidence and secretly went to the table to persuade Yang Jian to ascend the throne.
