Li jingsui

Li jingsui (920-958, September 17), born in Xuzhou, was the third son of Li Min, the liezu of the Southern Tang Dynasty.

In the Southern Wu Dynasty, he served as a servant. In the Southern Tang Dynasty, he was renamed King Ji, King Shou, King Yan, and king Qi. He was named emperor's younger brother by his brother Li Jing, and became the last emperor's younger brother in Chinese history. However, Li jingsui was always worried and changed his word to quit. In 958, under his repeated requests, he finally refused to reserve the throne. He was renamed king of Jin, and was granted general Tiance, marshal Ma of Jiangnan Xidao, governor of Hongzhou, Taiwei and Shangshu. Li Jing also granted his eldest son Li Hongji the crown prince.

Li Hongji did not like his father, afraid that his father would let his uncle replace him. He heard that yuan Congfan's son was killed by Li jingsui, so he bribed yuan Congfan. On the second day of August, he poisoned Jing Sui, and Li Jing became Wen Cheng's younger brother.

In the second year of Wu Tianzuo's reign (936), he served as a servant of Wu's family.

Li Min, the liezu of the Southern Tang Dynasty, established the Southern Tang Dynasty, and Li Jing became the king of longevity from King Ji, except for Dongdu and Jiangdu Yin. He was appointed to preside over the funeral of Yang Pu, the Rui emperor of Southern Wu.

When Li Min died, Li Jing gave Li jingsui the throne and was stopped by the minister. So Li jingsui moved to be the king of Yan, changed to be the king of Qi, and added to the army and marshal of Dao. The next year, he ordered Li jingsui to take charge of the government. The imperial edict was issued. Li jingsui resigned and Li Jing took back his life.

In the fifth year of Baoda (947), Li jingsui was appointed as his younger brother. Li jingsui tried his best to forbid him. He took Laozi's meaning of "retiring after success" and changed the word "retiring".

Li jingsui had been in the east palace for 13 years, and he wrote many times to request his return. In the first year of Jiaotai (958), he was granted the title of "king of Jin" as general Tiance, marshal Jiangnan Xidao, governor of Hongzhou, Taiwei and Shangshu. In the same year for Prince Li Hongji poison kill, gift too younger brother, posthumous title "Wencheng".

The scenery is pure, thick, tranquil and elegant. He was good at writing poems, and had no illusory days with the officials of the imperial court. A couplet of duanju is recorded in Quan Tang Shi.

Although Li jingsui was Li Hongyi's uncle in name, he was framed by Hongji in the Cuju field.
