He was born in xianganwei, yangkeng village, Songkou, Meizhou in 1585. He was very smart when he was young. He was able to read poems and books when he was 11 or 12 years old. He devoted himself to the study of history and was very accomplished. He was appreciated by people. At the age of 19, he was a scholar. In the 37th year of Wanli (1609), he won the title of "Jieyuan" in the provincial city of Guangzhou. After the liberation of the Yuan Dynasty, the "Five Dragon hall" was set up, which was created by scholars from all over the world. In the first year of Chongzhen (1628), Zhongjin was awarded the title of huikui. He was elected the magistrate of Yicheng County in Shanxi Province. He donated his salary to build "Xiangshan academy" to give lectures in person. The literary style of Zhongyi was greatly promoted. Among the 20 scholars, 6 of them became Jinshi. Yicheng gentry established the ancestral hall "lifuzi Temple" for him. In the eighth year of Chongzhen (1635), he was transferred to Quwo County, Shanxi Province, and built "Qiaoshan academy" in the area. He donated 100 liang of salary and silver to the students in the county for the examination papers, declared to study Taoism and erected a stele for the Academy. Later, Quwo won the "top spot" in the three examinations in a row, and was praised as "Lingnan master". Because of his outstanding achievements in the two counties, he was recommended to take part in the palace examination. He called for the imperial examination and won the first place. He was awarded the Tongyi official, the right servant of the Ministry of officials, and the editor of the Imperial Academy. He served as a servant of the East Palace. When he was in office, he actively advised the emperor to identify the officials, and the superior were superior to the inferior.
After Li Zicheng conquered Kyoto, he took the prince to return home, but failed to organize Qin Wang's division several times. In 1645, the king of the Tang Dynasty ascended the throne in Fuzhou and changed to Longwu. He was appointed as Zhan Shi's office and actively engaged in anti Qing and restoration of Ming Dynasty. In March 1646, the Longwu court in Fuzhou fell. In 1585, he was born in yangkeng village, Songkou Town, Meizhou. He has been very intelligent since he was a child. At the age of twelve or thirteen, he was praised for his ability to write a thousand words. At the age of 19, he passed the examination as a scholar.
Wanli thirty seventh year (1609) in Jieyuan. At that time, the government was in decline and the people were in dire need of living. When Meizhou was hit by natural disasters and famine, Li Erhe was very sad to witness the disaster. He discussed with the people in the city to provide relief to the victims. First of all, he donated his allowance to Beijing to exchange it for official grain.
In the 47th year of Wanli (1619), he was deeply moved by the "poor mountain and river Wenfeng" at the exit of Meixi in Songkou, Meizhou. He was determined to change the mountain and river environment and took the lead in mobilizing the local people to raise funds to build yuankui pagoda.

In 1638, in order to select talents, Li Erhe was recommended by the Wei imperial censor in the capital of Shanxi Province to take part in the palace examination. In 1644, Li Zicheng, a peasant uprising army, entered the capital. Emperor Chongzhen hanged himself in the coal mountain. It is said that Li Er and he Zeng, together with Prince Zhu cijian, returned to their hometown and lived in seclusion in Yinna Mountain of Meizhou. They continued to serve the prince, organized training for local soldiers, and raised money in Songkou area of Meizhou in order to restore the Ming Dynasty. Later, he saw that the Qing army in the Central Plains was powerful and there was no hope of fighting against the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty. Li Shichun once wrote a poem and a couplet about it. The poem says: "the past of the iron bridge is the peach garden. The peach blossom on the stone does not remember the year. It sends a message to the chariots and horses of the Central Plains. The wind and dust will stop whiplash for a while." Lianri: "in the Yellow Crane Tower, things change, but the water is green and the mountains are green, and then to Lu Xian to meet the old master; in the White Deer Cave, when spring goes back to autumn, flowers bloom and children knot, and come back to recognize the predecessor." Since then, Li Erhe has lived in seclusion in sanbaixuan, Lingguang temple, Yinnashan, Meizhou. He has written a collection of sanbaixuan's works and set up a "can flower hall" to educate scholars.
Because of too many students, when he was 68 years old, he rebuilt the Songjiang academy, built a royal library, and collected historical records, odes and statutes of the Ming Dynasty. This is his stronghold for fighting against the Qing Dynasty and restoring the Ming Dynasty.
At the age of 70, Li Shichun compiled Chengxiang county annals; at the age of 75, he ascended yuankuitao to write Dengta Ji; at the age of 78, he wrote preface to ancient and modern Wenyuan. In his works, there is a great wish to ask for help for the people, which is his ardent expectation for the handsome young people in his old age. Li Erhe wrote many works in his life, such as ancient and modern literary garden, sanbaixuan anthology, Yantai Jinyan plain and Yiyan, ten questions, Shiyuan, Yinna Mountain records, etc.
In order to attract people, the Qing court called Li Er he several times. Li Er he resigned from his old illness and couldn't get out. His climbing poem says: "the beautiful scenery of Nanshan is always there, and the book of beique is not coming again." Li Erhe has lived in seclusion in Yinna Mountain of Meizhou for more than ten years. Yongli 19 years (Qing Kangxi four years, 1665), died in Meizhou Songkou, 81 years old.

There are three cypresses in the cross stream of the bridge and one cave in Caoxi. Listening to Fayuan's interpretation of birds, living in the mountains for a long time is as common as Zen. The rain is ashamed of the hope of the common people, and the clouds and rain are divided into two parts He wrote the title of his study: "can flower hall", which means "can flower smile".
Er he's father married Mr. Rao outside Gehe, and made Miss Rao his wife. After the death of his parents, Rao yuan Wai immediately repented of his marriage and gave her daughter to Ma's son, a wealthy businessman in Songkou Town, Meixian District, Meizhou city. Miss Rao despised Ma's son. She deeply loved Erhe's talent, appearance and character. She refused to marry Ma's son to death. She got her mother's support. In order to inherit her daughter's marriage, the mother and daughter made an appointment with Erhe and "snatched the wedding" on the day when Ma's family came to Rao's house. On the day when the young master of the Ma family came to greet him, the Li family's sedan chair first came to Rao's house. The Rao family didn't know what it meant. When the time came, Miss Rao boarded the sedan chair provided by Erhe and went to the hall of Li's house to worship Li Erhe and form a couple. Rao yuan's foreign spirit was in a hurry, but he had nothing to say when he thought about the oath he had made with the Li family. Songyuan river passes through Songkou Town, Meixian District, Meizhou City, and reaches Meijiang river at the exit of tongpa village. Erhe feels that the "Wenfeng mountain" at the exit is not good. The so-called "Wenfeng mountain" is a brush shaped mountain peak. Superstition says that the place where "Wenfeng" stands out can produce more talents for the imperial examination. If Wenfeng is not good enough, it must be remedied. The only way is to build a huge tower in the shape of a pen. Therefore, Erhe proposed to raise money to build a nine story octagonal pagoda. Many squires responded to the proposal and donated money and materials. The construction of the pagoda started in 1619 and was completed in 1629. It took 10 years, that is, the second year of the second year of the second year of the second year of Chongzhen high school. Therefore, the pagoda was named yuankui. He also built a Wenchang Pavilion beside the tower. When he was old, he offered sacrifices to the emperor Wenchang and prayed that Songkou would produce more talents. Li Erhe wrote about the gate of the pagoda in person, and said: "when the waves return to the front of the pavilion, one pillar will be the mainstay of the middle stream; the peak will be beautiful outside the sky, and the light of the Kui wall will rise for thousands of years.". At the age of 25, Erhe passed the examination of Jieyuan. At that time, it was the decline of the imperial government, the failure of the military administration, the disaster of banditry and chaos, and the great famine. Li Erhe was in this situation, and his heart was very sad. First of all, he donated his allowance money to Beijing to exchange for official grain to relieve the starving people.
