Liuquxiang

Liuquxiang is a colorless, clear and transparent wine produced in Qixian County, Shanxi Province.

Liuquxiang liquor is the product of liuquxiang distillery in Qi County, Shanxi Province. In 1974, it was named as Shanxi famous liquor. In 1984, it won the gold cup award in the liquor quality competition of the Ministry of light industry. In the third, fourth and fifth national liquor Review Conferences, it won the title of national high quality liquor and the silver award of national high quality products.

Qixian County is located in Jinzhong, with fertile soil and rich water resources. It is rich in wheat, sorghum and other grains. It is suitable for wine making. According to the records of Qixian County, people have the custom of "making wine on the equinox" and "making music on June 6". In Qing Dynasty, "Shaojiu" and "huangjiu" became one of the main products. Qixian distillery was built on the former site of Shaoguo in 1950 and put into operation in 1973.
