The History Museum of the Central Soviet area was built by Gannan Normal University. It is the first "History Museum of the Central Soviet Area" in Colleges and universities in China. The name of the museum was inscribed by General Liu Meng, the son of Marshal Liu Bocheng. The total area of the museum is nearly 1000 square meters. On May 18, 2017, it was promoted to the third batch of national first-class museums.

Development history

On November 6, 2011, on the occasion of the founding of the central revolutionary base and the 80th anniversary of the founding of the Soviet Republic of China, the Central Soviet History Museum was officially opened in Gannan Normal University, Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province.

On May 18, 2017, he was awarded the third batch of national first-class museums in the capital museum.

The Soviet Republic of China is the central political power institution established by the Communist Party of China in Ruijin, the central revolutionary base during the agrarian revolution. Gannan Normal University, located in the old revolutionary base area of Gannan, has always attached great importance to the study of red culture and the education of the Soviet spirit. The "research center of Central Soviet Area" is the key research base of Humanities and Social Sciences in Jiangxi Province, and also the only discipline base in China to carry out research on the history of Central Soviet area. In recent years, two sets of 18 volume research series have been published. They also rely on the advantages of red resources, committed to promoting the work of "red resources into the campus", and strive to cultivate trustworthy, reliable and high-quality socialist builders and successors. "Red resources into the campus" work and "red class" construction has become the characteristics and brand of Ideological and political education work.

2011 marks the 90th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China and the 80th anniversary of the Provisional Central Government of the Soviet Republic of China.
