Located next to Wufu square, Xingguo County, Jiangxi Province, the Xingguo revolutionary memorial hall has a memorial Pavilion, a monument, a memorial square, a museum, a water lotus pool and other buildings. From 1996 to 2002, party and state leaders Jiang Zemin, Li Peng and Li Ruihuan visited the memorial hall of revolutionary martyrs and laid wreaths to the martyrs.

Changes of library names

The original name of the museum was Xingguo County revolutionary memorial hall. In 1968, it was renamed Chairman Mao. The memorial hall of Xingguo model county in the Soviet area was founded and officially opened. In March 1973, it was renamed Xingguo Revolutionary History Memorial. In August 1984, it was renamed Xingguo County Museum. It has been named since May 1986.

Introduction to the library

The construction of Xingguo revolutionary memorial hall started in 1959. The main building exhibition building is a brick and wood structure building with national style. Xie peak, cornice angle. It has three floors in the middle and two floors in the left and right, covering an area of 2276 square meters and a construction area of 1807 square meters. Basically, there are exhibitions on the history of the revolution of rejuvenating the country in the Soviet Area, Mao Zedong's investigation of Changgang Township, and a temporary exhibition on the life of the people's Liberation Army's general of rejuvenating nationality. It is the exhibition building of revolutionary history in Xingguo County. It mainly displays the historical materials of the revolutionary activities of the older generation of revolutionaries such as Mao Zedong, Zhu De and Chen Yi in Xingguo County and the exemplary work of the people in the Soviet area.

Exhibition setup

The memorial hall mainly displays the revolutionary activities of Mao Zedong, Zhu De, Peng Dehuai, Chen Yi, Li Fuchun, Zeng Shan and other proletarian revolutionaries in rejuvenating the country, as well as the brilliant achievements of the people of rejuvenating the country in "creating the first-class work" under the leadership of the Communist Party of China. The exhibition is divided into four parts

The first part: the establishment of the revolutionary regime. This paper introduces the fighting process of Xingguo people in establishing and defending the revolutionary regime under the leadership of the Communist Party of China.

The second part: carry out the land struggle in depth. This paper introduces the situation and experience of twice dividing farmland in Xingguo County in 1930.

The third part: smashing the enemy's third "encirclement and suppression". It shows the revolutionary practice of Mao Zedong, Zhu De and Peng Dehuai in commanding the Red Army to smash the Kuomintang's third "encirclement and suppression" and the heroic deeds of rejuvenating the people to support the Red Army.

The fourth part: Xingguo people created the first class work. This paper introduces the outstanding achievements of the people of Xingguo in expanding the Red Army, supporting the front and participating in the war, and economic and cultural construction. The whole exhibition is divided into six exhibition rooms, with 346 exhibits, including revolutionary cultural relics, literary photos, charts, models, sand tables, sculptures and oil paintings. Among them, there are precious cultural relics, such as the notice of the fourth regiment of the new Gannan Red Army, the model plaque of expanding the Red Army and the winning flag of the whole province's war work.

The exhibition of the life of Xingguo generals is located in shuhuan, the former revolutionary site, about 500 meters away from the memorial hall. The exhibition introduces the life stories of 54 Xingguo generals of the people's Liberation Army.

Collection works

The museum has a collection of more than 1700 cultural relics, mainly revolutionary cultural relics (mainly from the Soviet Area), as well as historical cultural relics. Most of the revolutionary cultural relics are literature, and most of the historical cultural relics are Ming and Qing Dynasty porcelain. Precious cultural relics include Jian Feng Bao, stone models of silver coins made by the mint, and tombstones of Zhong Shaojing (Xingguo people) in the Tang Dynasty.

The Xingguo revolutionary memorial actively carried out research on revolutionary cultural relics, local revolutionary history and Museology. Over the past few decades, the memorial has published more than 40 papers in newspapers and periodicals at all levels, including a brief introduction to Chairman Mao's seven revolutionary activities in Xingguo, a glorious example - the story of Chairman Mao's revolutionary activities in Xingguo, a chronicle of cultural relics in Xingguo, and a model county in the Soviet area.
