Huanwen Park

Huanwen park is located two kilometers east of the county, with a total area of 633 mu. It is the main scenic spot of Yilong Lake Provincial Scenic spot. Each scenic spot of Huanwen park is built in the style of classical architecture of Qing Dynasty in Shiping County. Along the north-south axis, there are three landscapes: Huanwen scenic spot, Mingbang literature spot and Dakui world. The structure is rigorous and the momentum is magnificent.

Huanwen Park

Located in Shiping County, Huanwen park is mainly divided into three scenic spots, namely "Huanwen Shengjing", "Mingbang literature" and "Tian Bu Dakui". There are five main buildings, namely north-south gate, Huanwen tower, multi-functional restaurant, literature building and Zhuangyuan building.

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the vast number of medical workers fighting in the front line of prevention and control, from the end of the epidemic to December 31, 2020, all medical workers in the scenic area (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) are free of charge with valid certificates.

On September 25, 1998, the project was approved by the provincial government Dali tourism boutique construction work meeting and the provincial and State Planning Commission. The total investment is 25.04 million yuan, covering an area of 633 mu.

The foundation was laid on February 13, 1999, and the first phase of the project was completed on November 26 of the same year. It is an important scenic spot in Yilong Lake Provincial Scenic Spot and a concentrated exhibition place for the historical and cultural achievements of Shiping County. Zhuangyuan building is a top Pavilion building with triple eaves and Xieshan. It displays the life story of Yuan Jiagu (equivalent to Zhuangyuan), the first economic expert in the 29th year of the reign of Emperor Guangxu of the Qing Dynasty, and reproduces the style of a famous historical and cultural building. The literature building is an imitation of the double eaves Pavilion on the top of Xieshan mountain in the early Qing Dynasty. It adopts the decorative style of traditional national architecture, and has unique lighting and lighting, which strengthens the effect of exhibition. The building displays the portraits and biographies of 94 Ming and Qing Dynasty Shiping scholars, Jinshi and celebrities, as well as the photos of 19 cultural celebrities from the Republic of China to the present, their works and biographies. In addition, it also displays many Shiping authors' books and more than 300 photos of cultural relics and historic sites, which reproduces the elegant demeanour of Shiping literature. Now it is a national AA scenic spot.

There are not many places to stay here. The price of one or two star hotels in Jianshui area is about 100-180 yuan per room, while the cost of ordinary hotels and guest houses is 10-50 yuan. Adjacent to Vietnam's Hekou area, there are also one or two star hotels, and the price is similar to that of Jianshui area.

In Shiping County, you can take bus No.5. Yilong lake is about 5km away from Yilong town. You can take a taxi or a minibus and pass by Huanwen park.

Free policy

In February 2020, in order to pay tribute to the vast number of medical workers fighting in the front line of prevention and control, from the end of the epidemic to December 31, 2020, all medical workers in the scenic area (including Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan) are free of charge with valid certificates. You can enter the scenic spot free of charge by holding your own valid certificates (doctor's certificate, nurse's certificate, relevant medical certificate or medical unit's post certificate and ID card) at the tourist service center. In addition, more than 10 medical workers can make an appointment with the scenic spot one day in advance, and the scenic spot will provide free tour guide service.
