Xingyi Village

Xingyi village, the name of the village, belongs to Chenghai Town, Yongsheng County, Lijiang City, Yunnan Province. It is located in the north of Chenghai Town, 35 kilometers away from the seat of Chenghai town government. The road to the township is Tulu, 35 kilometers away from the county. It is adjacent to Xingren village committee in the East, Panyang village committee in the south, shunzhou town in the West and Sanchuan town in the north. It governs four villager groups, including xiaoyangbao village and Xiwan village. Xingyi village, Yangguang Town, Tonghai County, Yuxi City, Yunnan Province, is located in the east of Yangguang Town, 5km away from the seat of Yangguang town government. The road to the township is asphalt road, with convenient transportation, 10km away from Tonghai County. It is adjacent to yiguangshao village in the East, Huaning County in the south, majiawan in the West and Qilu Lake in the north. It has jurisdiction over 9 villager groups including Xingyi village and dayiguang village.

By the end of 2008, the village has a total area of 1597 mu of cultivated land (including 1300 mu of farmland and 300 mu of land), 0.65 mu of per capita cultivated land, mainly planting rice, corn and other crops; 15421.5 mu of forest land, including 190 mu of economic forest land, 0.05 Mu of per capita economic forest land, mainly planting pepper and other economic forest fruit; 150 mu of grassland.

The effective irrigation area of the whole village is 1597 mu, and the effective irrigation rate is 100%, including 1418 mu of high and stable yield farmland and 0.3 mu of high and stable yield farmland per capita.

The village covers an area of 19.97 square kilometers, with an altitude of 1553 meters, an average annual temperature of 18.7 ℃ and an annual precipitation of 732.4 mm.

There are 170 households still have drinking water difficulties or the water quality is not up to the standard (17.5% of the total number of farmers). There are 991 households with electricity, 540 households with cable TV, 790 households with TV (accounting for 100%, 55.67% and 81.4% of the total number of households respectively); 95 households with fixed telephone or mobile phone, 35 households with mobile phone (accounting for 9.7% and 3.6% of the total number respectively).

By the end of 2008, there were 515 households with biogas digesters, 28 households with solar energy, and 515 households with "one pool, three changes" (changing kitchen, toilet and stables). Four villages have been electrified, four have access roads, four have television, four have telephone, and four have drinking water problems or water quality is not up to standard.
