Longshui town is located in the southeast of Dazu district. Because Laixi river passes through it and the water source of Laixi river is rich, it gets its name. Longshui town has a long history. It was built in the second year of Qianyuan (759) of Tang Dynasty. It is more than 1200 years ago. It is known as "Changzhou" in ancient times and "hometown of hardware" today. It has always been the industrial center, transportation hub and economic center of Dazu District. Famous specialty

The origin of Longshui hardware can be traced back to the late Tang Dynasty. At the end of Tang Dynasty, Wei JunJing, the county magistrate of Changyuan (now Rongchang), set up a volunteer army and stationed troops in Dazu.
