Huize earth crack

Huize Dadi fracture is located in Huize County, Qujing City, Yunnan Province. It can be reached from Kunming along Songzhao expressway, 190km away from Kunming City and 160km away from Qujing City. It belongs to karst mountain valley type natural scenic spot in karst area.

There are many stone buds, stone pillars, stone mantle and karst caves in the scenic area. The whole ground crack is winding and mysterious. The steep cliffs on both sides are green all the year round, and the dew on the grass tip is shy. The main scenic spots are the great thinker, the gate of life, phoenix tail and dripping green, the turtle crossing the river, a line of sky, peacock opening screen, Golden Buddha cave, sleeping beauty, Tiansheng waterfall, ancient grapevine, fairy guiding, etc.

In 1958, an open water diversion canal (commonly known as Xingfu canal) was excavated on the left side of the rock wall 130 meters high to solve the drinking water problem of 4000 people in Baiyi village.

It was found in 2002 and opened to tourists.

Huize earth fissure is more than 10 kilometers long, the widest is more than 20 meters, the narrowest is only 1.4 meters, and the highest is 486 meters. The landform types are complex and diverse. It is formed by the rise and fall of the earth's crust for hundreds of millions of years, and the "mountain" shaped strata are scattered.

At an altitude of 1700 meters to 2900 meters, a Xiaomi river passes through a crack. It is famous for its strange, dangerous, secluded, deep and beautiful scenery.
