Longgong scenic area is mainly composed of karst caves, caves and waterfalls. In 1988, in the name of Guizhou Longgong scenic spot, Longgong was approved by the State Council to be listed in the second batch of national scenic spots.

On May 8, 2007, Anshun Longgong scenic spot was officially approved as a national AAAAA scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration.

In April 2005, the management system of the scenic area was reformed. The Longgong Scenic Area Committee and the Longgong Scenic Area Management Committee were set up. Guizhou Longgong Tourism Development Co., Ltd. was established. Two brands and one set of people were implemented.

In 2013, Longgong scenic area made efforts to create an upgraded version of tourism from six aspects: planning, project construction, tourism product upgrading, marketing, service quality and harmonious scenic area construction.

In 2014, the Longgong scenic area invested 4 billion yuan to comprehensively transform the scenic area and its surrounding areas. The transformation and upgrading of the tourism industry of Longgong scenic spot can be realized through the synchronization of the inside and outside of the scenic spot and the integration of towns and villages.

Since July 2014, Longgong scenic area has been carrying out the construction of the upgraded version of Longgong tourism in accordance with the goal of "dream dragon palace, ultimate Dragon Palace".

3. Shiqu Garden: also known as dragon palace small stone forest. Located above the hidden river of Longgong, there are stones piled up in various ground karst forms, with different sizes and shapes. It is a natural interesting stone garden.

4. Tianchi: Tianchi is a deep pool with a depth of more than 30 meters. It is oval in shape, with steep cliffs around it, just like a knife. The water is clear and blue all the year round, and the shallower part is clear. The pool is surrounded by a forest of ancient trees.

5. Rape scenic spot: 8 kilometers from the upstream of Longgong. The scenic spot is a man-made lake with beautiful mountains and waters, connected islands and numerous peaks. The water is open and can be used for recreation and sightseeing.

6. Xuantang: it is a national scenic spot, on the upstream of the Dragon Palace. The water of tongxuan River sinks into the ground and becomes an underground river. The pond is round in shape. The water in the pond rotates clockwise all the year round with green duckweed on it.

Characteristic scenic spots

(1) Known by tourists as "China's first water cave", the underground river cave is 15 kilometers long, ranking the first in China. The scenic area is open to the outside world for two sections, 1240 meters long. There are many kinds of Bell and milk in the cave. The structure of the cave hall is like the Dragon King Palace in myth. The cave scenery of "underground Lijiang River and stone forest in the sky" is of high value. The great poet Ai Qing called it "the great miracle of nature". Liu Haisu, a master of traditional Chinese painting, praised it as "the wonder of the world". The national experts of cave sighed that "seeing the Dragon Palace, knowing the water cave of the world, and riding a light boat, facing the fairyland of the world".

(2) Longgong Guanyin cave, the largest cave temple in China. Guanyin cave, with a total area of more than 20000 square meters, is characterized by its natural karst caves. Among them, the statue of Guanyin is as high as 12.6 meters. On the main hall, there is a stalactite with a natural spirit similar to Guanyin. The natural and artificial Buddha statues are integrated.

(3) Longmen waterfall, the largest cave waterfall in China. Longmen waterfall is more than 50 meters high and 26 meters wide. The flowing water dries through the mountain and splits rocks with the momentum of gushing. It is magnificent and galloping.

(4) The Dragon Palace whirlpool is a wonder of whirling water. An area of more than 10000 square meters of round pond, pool water does not borrow wind, day and night, year after year, never stop along the clockwise direction of rotation. It's a rare sight. (5) The word "dragon" is the best in the world. In the fields on the left bank of tongxuan River in Xuantang scenic area of Longgong, rape flower and broad bean are Interplanted in spring, and common rice and black glutinous rice are Interplanted in autumn. Covering an area of 120 mu, about 80000 square meters, the "dragon" landscape has been launched since late February 2009 during the seventh rape flower tourism festival of Guizhou (Longgong).

Traffic routes

Yunnan Guizhou railway, Zhuzhou Liupanshui double track railway, Huangguoshu airport, national highway 320, Guihuang highway and Shanghai Kunming expressway can directly reach the scenic spot.

1. Longgong - Huangguoshu Waterfall - Shitouzhai - Yelang Cave: from the extension of LIUZHEN expressway of County Road (x007) to the exit of Longgong (dashanshao) to Anshun west station, along the expressway to Huangguoshu, a total of 30 km, takes about 30 minutes to reach Huangguoshu. It takes about 15 minutes to reach Shitouzhai after 9 km, and about 30 minutes to reach Yelang cave after 10 km;
