Linhai City Museum
Linhai museum is a comprehensive museum integrating cultural relics collection, research, exhibition, public education and cultural exchange. Its predecessor was the Taizhou Cultural Relics Management Committee established in March 1951. After many changes, the museum is now located in the northwest of Linghu scenic area.
The museum has a collection of more than 50000 cultural relics, covering bronze, calligraphy and painting, ceramics, jade, gold and silver, ancient books, etc. the amount of cultural relics collected is the largest in Taizhou, and also in the forefront of local museums in Zhejiang Province. The new Museum covers an area of 28.6 mu, with a total investment of 169 million yuan, a floor area of 21000 m2, and an exhibition hall and auxiliary area of 8500 m2. There are three permanent exhibitions of history, pterosaur and folklore and two temporary exhibition halls in the museum. It is the best window to understand the history and culture of Linhai, the folk customs and the mystery of pterosaur.
Since its opening on December 29, 2017, people from all walks of life in Linhai and its surrounding cities have been enthusiastic about it. So far, more than 750000 people have traveled through history, talked about the past and the present, and felt the past and the present of Linhai and even Taizhou.

Basic Display
In October 1996, Linhai municipal government allocated 300000 yuan for the basic display of "Linhai historical relics exhibition", which is divided into prehistoric, political, economic and cultural parts. The exhibition displays more than 390 pieces of representative cultural relics, more than 90 pictures, more than 100 photos and 9 statues. In terms of the guiding ideology of exhibition arrangement, Linhai Museum pays special attention to the audience as the foothold, practically taking the history of Linhai as the lead, the unearthed cultural relics as the focus, and the pictures and texts as the auxiliary. In terms of display techniques, the designers put more emphasis on their own characteristics, fully considered the viewing effect of the audience, and showed the cultural connotation of Linhai as a national historical and cultural city to the maximum extent, which always runs through the main line of patriotism education.
The exhibition of Linhai historical relics shows the development of politics, society, economy and culture of Linhai (including ancient Taizhou) in a comprehensive way. It mainly focuses on physical objects, supplemented by pictures and texts, and strives to be popular and clear with both pictures and texts.
Collection
The museum has a collection of more than 20000 cultural relics of various categories (including 5 first-class cultural relics, 123 second-class cultural relics and 1098 third-class cultural relics), as well as more than 20000 volumes of ancient books.
Song Dasheng Yingzhong Dasheng bell is a palace musical instrument made by the "Dasheng" government from 1111 to 1118 (song Zhenghe). According to the scale, it is called "Yingzhong". Zhongtong is 28 cm in height, 21.8 cm in height and 6.2 cm in height. Its cross section is apricot shaped and its inner diameter is 18.1 × 13.9 cm. The button has a dragon pattern of opposite shape, and the pattern is hollowed out. The surface is decorated with Moire and rutin. In the Five Dynasties, the lotus covered fruit shaped powder box was made into a fruit shape and decorated with lotus. The lotus was covered with three petals. The petals were embossed, and the petals were engraved with veinlets. There was a handle shaped button on the top of the lid. It was exquisitely carved and covered with green glaze. The glaze was green and crystal clear.
