Cai village is located in the east of Dali ancient city, Dali Town, Dali City, Yunnan Province, on the West Bank of Erhai Lake. It has a coastline of more than 3km and a total population of more than 7100. The Bai people living here have been fishing for generations. At the end of last century, the villagers of Cai village began to turn from fishing to tourism. Some Bai compatriots started to operate small tourist boats at the pier of Cai village in Erhai.
