In 1629 ad, due to "taking the salt course as an important task", the state government moved from the old state to luomajing (now Baofeng) on the side of Luojiang River to the east of Lancang River. The Qing Dynasty belonged to Dali Prefecture.
In 1913, the state was changed into a county, belonging to Tengyue road. In 1929, the county office was changed to the county government, which was directly under the provincial government, and the administrative office was moved to Shimen.
On November 11, 1949, the working committee of Yunlong County was established in dabaoluo village, Guanli (now Changxin township).
On November 13, the people's Government of Yunlong County was established in Qideng village, Shili (now Jiancao township).

Adjacent to the north and Jianchuan County, Nujiang Lisu Autonomous Prefecture Lanping Bai Pumi Autonomous County
The border. The maximum horizontal distance from east to west is 91.8 km, and the maximum vertical distance from north to south is 1109 km, covering a total area of 4400.95 square kilometers, all of which are mountainous areas. The county is located in Nuodeng Town, Shiwei River Valley, in the middle of the county, 175 km away from Dali City, the capital of Dali Prefecture, and 574 km away from Kunming City, the provincial capital.
geology
Yunlong County is located in the West Yunnan geosyncline (namely Sanjiang fold belt), which belongs to the middle of the giant "bad" shaped structural system of Tibet, Yunnan, Myanmar and Indonesia. The tectonic strike is nearly north-south or north-west. To the east of Lancang River is a part of Lanping Simao Mesozoic red sedimentary basin, which is mainly composed of mudstone, silty mudstone, siltstone and sandstone; to the west of Lancang River to caojianhe belongs to Chongshan metamorphic belt, which is a variety of metamorphic rock series; to the west of caojianhe is Mesozoic uplift area, which is mainly composed of sandstone and mudstone intercalated with shale or carbon stone.
The Mesozoic and Cenozoic red beds are the most widely distributed strata, followed by Paleozoic strata. The exposed strata are Ordovician, Silurian, Devonian, Carboniferous, Permian, Chongshan metamorphic rock, Triassic, Jurassic, Cretaceous, Paleogene and Quaternary.
The geological structure of Yunlong County can be divided into three parts: Yunlong compound syncline, Chongshan metamorphic belt and sanguoban uplift. Yunlong compound syncline, centered on Baofeng, Shimen and Shijing, is distributed in the vast area in the middle and east of the county, and its structural strike is NNW. The Chongshan metamorphic belt is widely distributed along the Chongshan mountains in the southern part of Biluo snow mountain and its west, Zhiben mountain and east of caojianhe river. It is a metamorphic compound anticline uplift belt. Daxueshan sanguoban uplift is located in the southwest corner of Yunlong County to the west of caojianhe river. It is composed of northeast Daxueshan anticline and northwest sanguoban anticline.
landforms
Yunlong is located in the longitudinal valley of Lancang River in the south of Hengduanshan mountain. The Nushan mountain range, Yunling branch, Lancang River and Shejiang River (the main tributaries of Lancang River) run through the whole area from north to south, and the Nujiang River flows around the western border. It belongs to mountainous terrain. From west to East, there are Chongshan mountain range, Panshan mountain range and qingshuilang mountain range, which account for more than 90% of the area of Yunlong County. The main river Lancang River and its tributaries run through the West and the middle of Yunlong County from north to south, and their tributaries are East-West or nearly east-west. The river bed has a large slope and is rich in water resources. Cut strongly by the river, the mountains are majestic and the valley is deep, forming a broken and complex landform of alternating mountains and valleys, which was called "Yanjiang" in ancient times. The basic terrain of Yunlong County is high in the East and West, low in the middle, and gradually decreasing from north to south.
The Lancang River, which runs through the county, divides Yunlong County into two geomorphic types: East and West. The east of Lancang River is located in Yunling mountain area, with an altitude of about 2000-2500 meters. The parent rock of soil is mostly purple sandstone and mudstone. The soil is mainly purple soil and yellow brown soil. The vegetation is mainly coniferous and broad-leaved forest such as Pinus yunnanensis and Quercus yunnanensis, with drought and less rain. It is the main pastoral area and the main grain production area mainly composed of corn and beans in Yunlong County. To the west of Lancang River is Nushan mountain range. The elevation of valley area is generally 1300-1500 meters, and the elevation of mountain area is generally more than 3000 meters. The soil type is mainly red soil, yellow soil and yellow brown soil, and the vegetation is mainly coniferous and broad-leaved mixed forest and bamboo, with abundant rainfall and water.
There are undulating mountains, dense rivers and wide altitude difference. Lamaku mountain in Miaowei township is 3663 meters above sea level, which is the highest point in Yunlong County, and the lowest point is hongqiba in Minjian Township on the border of Nujiang River. It is 730 meters above sea level, and the relative height difference between the two places is 2933 meters. The county is 1640 meters above sea level. Yunlong County is composed of five geomorphic units: high mountain gorge, middle mountain valley, piedmont alluvial fan, river terrace and plateau planation. Affected by the complex and diverse landform, the climate, vegetation and soil show obvious regional differences, especially the vertical differences.
climate
Yunlong County belongs to the continental subtropical plateau monsoon climate in general, but due to the special geographical location and complex geomorphic influence, the combination and distribution of light, hot water and other climatic factors are characterized by crossing each other in the horizontal and vertical directions, and the vertical direction is more obvious, forming a complex and changeable "composite three-dimensional climate", which can be described as "four shows in one mountain, one beautiful in another" The land is divided into four zones, ten miles in different days. The annual average temperature difference between the highest altitude and the lowest altitude is 17 ℃. In normal years, the rainfall in the Jijiang River Valley is about 750 mm, while that in the Caojian area is about 1600 mm, which is more than double.
The general climate of Yunlong County is characterized by distinct dry and wet seasons, hot and rainy seasons and cool and dry seasons. The rainfall is concentrated in summer and autumn, which is easy to cause flood and waterlogging, and it is often dry in winter, spring and early summer. Most mountain areas are cold and cool in winter, but not hot in summer. Some valley areas are warm in winter and hot in summer. In spring, it warms quickly, but the spring temperature is not stable, sometimes it is cold in late spring. After autumn, the temperature drops slowly, and there is often continuous rain in autumn.
The annual average temperature of Yunlong County is 16.1 ℃, the average temperature of the hottest month is 22.3 ℃, and the average temperature of the coldest month is 8.4 ℃. The extreme maximum temperature over the years is 35.6 ℃, and the extreme minimum temperature is - 4 ℃. The average annual rainfall is 781.4 mm, of which the rainfall from May to October is 673.6 mm, accounting for 86.2% of the annual rainfall. The maximum monthly rainfall over the years is 365.3 mm, and the minimum monthly rainfall is zero. The annual average relative humidity is 68%, and the minimum relative humidity is zero. The average annual sunshine is 2088.3 hours, and the average annual evaporation is 1828.4 mm. The average annual thunderstorm days are 37 days. The average frost free period is 258 days. The annual average wind speed is 1.9 meters per second, and the annual maximum wind direction is southeast. The average annual total solar radiation is 5433 megajoules per square meter, which belongs to the high value area
