Shutong Park

Shutong park is located in dayingzhou of East Lake, commonly known as dahudun. It used to be East Lake Park. It is the oldest existing scenic spot in Pinghu with rich Danghu culture. Now it is the theme park of Li Shutong Memorial Hall. In 1928, dayingzhou was established as "Zhongshan forest" and "Zhongshan forest memorial tower" was set up in the island. During the Anti Japanese War, nongzhu building was demolished. After liberation, people's Park was established and later changed into East Lake Park. The park was rebuilt as "Lake in Lake", built rockery, built Jiuqu bridge, rebuilt pearl playing Pavilion, and planted famous trees and flowers. The East Lake Park has lush trees and beautiful scenery, which is a good place for Pinghu citizens to visit Good place.

Introduction to scenic spots

In 2004, Li Shutong Memorial Hall and statue were built in dayingzhou. Li Shutong, whose ancestral home is Pinghu, is the first person in modern China to learn western art. He has cultivated a large number of outstanding art masters, such as Feng Zikai, Pan Tianshou and Liu Zhiping. He has made great achievements in music, fine arts, drama, seal cutting, poetry and calligraphy. After middle age, he converted to Buddhism, studied Nanshan law school, and became a generation of patriotic monks.
