Lujiazui Central green space has become one of the best urban landscapes in Shanghai. Every year there are rich cultural and artistic activities held here.
Historical evolution
Lujiazui Central green space is located in the core of Lujiazui Central area. In the past, it was a shantytown in Lujiazui. Lannidu road and caotanglong are their names. The houses in this area are simple, dilapidated and low, the roads are narrow and muddy, and the living environment is very bad.
In 1992, when the architects from France, Britain, Japan, Italy and China were describing and outlining the future of Lujiazui financial center, the future Shanghai Central Business District, they all conceived to embed a piece of natural green space in the modern buildings, so as to realize the modern urban planning of Lujiazui financial center with high harmony between human and nature Make a theme.
In 1996, Shanghai and Pudong New Area put forward the decision of "concentrating strength, expanding the achievements, and speeding up the development and construction of Lujiazui Central Area". The construction of Lujiazui Central green space, as an important part of Shanghai's welcoming the "97 Hong Kong return" and showing the achievements of Pudong's form and function development, began formally. After a short period of 10 months, with an investment of nearly 800 million yuan, more than 3500 households and more than 30 units have been relocated, more than 200000 square meters of buildings have been razed to the ground, and a large open green lawn has finally been inlaid into the high-rise buildings in Lujiazui.
In May 2012, Lujiazui Financial City Center Green fitness trail construction project started, the main quantities include new fitness trail of 800 meters, old garden road reconstruction of 3600 square meters, green planting of 2000 square meters, small facilities maintenance, etc. the project took three months to complete.
Layout of scenic spots
Lujiazui Central green space is located in the core area of Lujiazui financial and trade center of Pudong New Area, on the left side of the Pudong exit of Yan'an east road tunnel.
Lujiazui Central Green Space from the entrance square, gives people a broad and rich impression of the times. The entrance of the green space is a group of sculptures with the theme of "spring". This group of sculptures is composed of eight blooming steel mushroom lamps. Through the scattered changes of height, size and thickness, it shows a kind of full of vitality and vigorous vitality with a strong sense of rhythm.
The layout of the central green space is mainly green, supplemented by waterscape, with undulating terrain.
The lawn area of the central green space is 65000 square meters, which is planted with German cold season grass seeds and is evergreen all the year round. The central green space is shaded by Cinnamomum camphora trees, and dotted with weeping willow, Magnolia, gingko, cedar, Magnolia grandiflora, Euonymus japonicus, red maple and other plants, which adds infinite vitality and vigor to the green space. Green lighting, chairs, sculpture pieces are carefully arranged, and integrated with the environment.
Goods are available in all varieties. The western area is a more than 600 square meter viewing tent. The interior facilities are available for all kinds of activities. The whole tent is like a white conch on the lake.
Since 2012, the green space of Lujiazui center has added a walking trail of about 800 meters, and added a series of facilities such as leisure seats and drinking fountains.
Man-made lake
At the center of the green space is an artificial lake with an area of 8600 square meters in the shape of Pudong New Area. The road winding on the lawn outlines Magnolia. The road and water body are like a high-level landscape of Shanghai. There is a 40 meter high main fountain in the center of the artificial lake, surrounded by auxiliary fountains. When the water comes from the fountain, the double ring auxiliary fountains are surrounded by the main jet water column, which is like a silver dragon flying, which is very spectacular.
On the south side of the artificial lake is a hydrophilic platform. There is a group of white European style awnings on the platform. Under the awning are stone round tables and stools, and the outside is surrounded by a low wooden fence. The combination of Chinese and Western Pastoral reflects the inclusiveness of the sea. There are two groups of sculptures near the lawn on one side of the hydrophilic platform. One group is three foreign young people with backpacks looking up at the tall buildings. The other group is three white-collar young people chatting. To the west of the artificial lake is a viewing canopy shaped like a huge white conch, which creates a leisure and comfortable place for tourists in the open green space. On the terrace of the viewing Ponte, there is a chair with an abstract and avant-garde chair, a green city with a block of wood and a tall forest tower with the Oriental Pearl TV Tower as its axis.
Yingchuan Xiaozhu
In the south of the central green space, there is a house with four entrances, three courtyards and two floors, which embodies the typical style of blending Chinese and Western architectural culture. Because of its ingenious combination of Chinese and Western styles, the local people also call it a house with twisted flowers. This building, which is engraved with the vicissitudes of time, is the only residence preserved when this golden land was moved. It has an elegant name, Yingchuan Xiaozhu. Its original owner was Chen Guichun. In the process of green space construction, this old house has been studied for many times and renovated. After the renovation, it was once used as Lujiazui development exhibition room.
The house was built in 1914 and completed in 1917, covering an area of more than 3000 square meters. With a construction area of 2765 square meters, the overall plan of the house faces south and is rectangular. It is a private house with four entrances, three courtyards and two floors. It is of brick and wood structure. The plane layout is symmetrical. The center is the main room with a yard, and the two sides are wing rooms.
First of all, from the plane point of view, the residential four into three courtyard, with the practice of traditional Chinese courtyard. In the center is a five bay main room, in the north is the main and guest hall, dining room, on both sides are three Bay wing rooms, mainly equipped with study, small living room and other rooms. There are 48 rooms in the whole central part. Located outside the wing rooms on both sides of the East and the west, there are two long rows of wing rooms, a total of 22 rooms, which are mainly for some ordinary guests and servants. The floor height is lower than that of the main room, and it is not as good as the main room in terms of the current interior decoration. It should be said that this kind of plane layout method of axial symmetry layer by layer is the practice of traditional Chinese dwellings.
Secondly, from the perspective of facade modeling, the wing room embodies the integration of Chinese and Western architectural culture. The house is a five bay hard Hill style building, which adopts the traditional wooden roof with small green tiles in the south of the Yangtze River. Its characteristic is that the wall is separated by red brick and green brick. Red brick is used as the wall separation line to connect the door, window, carving and other elements on the facade. However, there are many Western-style decorations, such as Western-style decoration on the traditional Chinese volcano wall. There are nearly ten kinds of door styles in residential buildings, some of which are traditional Chinese grilled doors, carved with very fine traditional Chinese opera, flowers, plants, fish and insects, but many of which are tall and heavy Western doors. In addition, the decoration style of some rooms is also western style. All the rooms along the central axis, that is, the more important rooms, adopt Chinese doors, windows and traditional carved patterns, while some Western pilasters, carved patterns and doors and windows are generally concentrated in relatively minor rooms such as wing rooms. Therefore, the whole architectural style is still dominated by traditional Chinese architectural style.
Third, the detailed design of the house is very exquisite. The doors and windows in the house, whether Chinese or western, are exquisitely carved. Even on the threshold of the house, there are all kinds of patterns, including flowers and birds, fish and insects, lions, as well as European style capitals and scrolls.
In addition to doors and windows, there are stone or wood carvings on all entrances, mountain walls, and almost all wooden beams and columns, especially at the entrance of the hall.
During the Anti Japanese War, Yingchuan Xiaozhu was occupied by the Japanese and puppet forces as the garrison headquarters. During the war of liberation, it was occupied by the military organizations of the Kuomintang. Until the liberation of Shanghai in May 1949, it returned to the people as the property of the country. Before the relocation, there were more than 80 households and more than 200 people in the house.
In 1996, when Lujiazui green space was built, Yingchuan building was renovated and opened to visitors as the site of Lujiazui development exhibition room in Pudong New Area of Shanghai. The exhibition room records the process of reform and opening up in Pudong New Area in detail with precious materials and photos. Lujiazui development exhibition room was once rated as one of the top ten scenic spots in Pudong New Area. Later, after the new Pudong exhibition hall was completed, Lujiazui development exhibition room moved out.
In April 2010, Wu Changshuo memorial hall, which was originally located in Huaxia Park in Pudong, was relocated to the renovated old house of Chen Guichun. As an innovator
