Daning Lingshi Park

Daning Lingshi park is located in Shanghai, with Gonghexin Road in the East, Hutai Road in the west, Lingshi Road and Guangzhong West Road in the north and Daning road in the south, covering an area of 500000 square meters. It is the largest park in Western Shanghai.

Daning Lingshi park is positioned as "ecological landscape type urban public green space". From the design concept, it pays attention to the cultural connotation and people-oriented. The design method advocates nature. Taking folding mountains, managing water and creating natural landscape as the framework, it configures rich and colorful trees, shrubs, lawns and ground cover plants, and constructs wetland swamp garden according to local conditions to form a stable artificial plant community.

The newly built Daning Lingshi Park, with its distinctive mountain forests, clear springs, lakes and waterfalls, forms an urban garden with beautiful scenery.

According to the characteristics of China's terrain, the park's terrain is gradually raised from east to west, and the park is divided into four parts: East, South, West and North. The east part is the natural garden scenic spot of the former Guangzhong park; the south part is the scenic spot of Southern customs, wetlands and lakes; the west part is the scenic spot of Western gardens and mountains; the north part is the scenic spot of lakes and mountains and Beihai. The lush plant community makes the whole park step by step attractive. Daning Lingshi park has planted a large number of plants, including 8300 trees, mainly Cinnamomum camphora, Magnolia grandiflora, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, and nearly 10000 square meters of other shrubs. One of the most eye-catching is the artificial rockery 19 meters high in the north of Daning Lingshi Park, which is the highest artificial rockery in Shanghai in recent years. After the completion of Daning Lingshi Park, it not only beautifies the environment, provides a good place for leisure and sightseeing for the citizens, but also plays the role of urban green lung to create a good air environment for the citizens of Shanghai. In addition, Daning Lingshi park is also one of the famous scenic spots in Shanghai, attracting a large number of photographers.

Daning Lingshi Park

Daning Lingshi park is located at 288 Guangzhong West Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, with a total area of 680000 square meters, the largest centralized green space in Puxi. The park is positioned as "ecological landscape type urban public green space", which is based on folding mountains, managing water and creating natural landscape. It is equipped with rich and colorful trees, shrubs, lawns and ground cover plants, and constructed wetland swamp garden according to local conditions to form a stable artificial plant community.

It was officially completed and put into use in May 2005. The construction of the park was listed as the practical project of Shanghai in 2000 and 2001 and the major project of Zhabei District.

In 2005, it won the title of "Shanghai civilization Park".

Location context

Daning Lingshi park is located on Guangzhong West Road, Jing'an District, Shanghai, with Gonghexin Road in the East, Hutai Road in the west, Lingshi Road and Guangzhong West Road in the north, Daning road in the south, Pengyuepu, a tributary of Huangpu River, running through the park in the north. The park covers an area of 500000 square meters, with a total area of 680000 square meters.

Layout of scenic spots

The eastern area is dominated by water, which is composed of Lake dike scenic area, lake scenery scenic area and lakeside wetland scenic area; the central area is a rare swamp garden in Shanghai; the western area is a mountain forest scenic area and European style scenic area.

There is a 4 km long and 6 m wide circular road in the park, and a 2 km long and 4 m wide circular path around the lake with an area of about 100 mu and a water depth of 4 M. Pengyuepu, a tributary of Huangpu River, runs through the whole park in the north of Henan Province, dividing Daning Lingshi Park into three parks: East Park, West Park and middle park. There are east gate, Mountain Gate (also called West Gate) and water gate in the northeast, northwest and south by west of Daning Lingshi park. There is a large open entrance square in front of its East and West gates.

Main attractions

Lingshi levee

Lingshi levee is located in the east of Daning Lingshi park. It is a building imitating the West Lake. It is mainly characterized by lake light and waterscape, including lake and white beach. On the artificial lake with an area of 70000 square meters, three stone bridges connect to form a corridor, and more than 3000 square meters of artificial beach is paved with more than 3000 tons of fine white sand by the lake.

Lotus Pond

Lotus pond is located near the east gate. There is a 100 mu Lake in the middle, called Beihai, with an artificial beach. The lake is full of lotus.

Sight seeing

The sightseeing landscape is located in the middle of Daning Lingshi Park, mainly including "yulexuan", "water town Zeguo" and "Langqiao".

There are cherry, plum, Magnolia, peach, plum, lotus, rape, chrysanthemum, maple, ginkgo and other ornamental flowers and trees in the park, attracting all kinds of birds to live here.

Heaven Pool

Tianchi scenic spot is located in the west of Daning Lingshi park. There is a pond on the top of the main mountain, which is called "Tianchi". There are two "mountain springs" in the pond, one of which flows eastward in a zigzag way. It not only forms many falls of different sizes, but also becomes the "water source" of many fountains in the East Valley. Another vein of "Tianchi" suddenly flows to the north, forming a waterfall with a drop of several feet, and then to a large stone beach.

Piazza Rome

Rome square is located near the west gate of Daning Lingshi Park, where tulip flower shows are held from mid March to mid April every year. The corridor is built on a square platform with an area of 900 square meters. Taitung has eight steps. The corridor is in the shape of "zhe", 4 meters wide and 8.17 meters high, with 44 sesame shaped granite pillars and reinforced concrete shaped beams. White gourd shaped reinforced concrete railings are set on both sides of the corridor. The concrete floor is divided into squares by pebbles, and 20 granite benches are set on the corridor. There are 7 small flower beds in the inner circle of the corridor, and 28 Wisteria plants are planted. In the center of the platform, there is a square flower bed with a side length of 5 meters, and 5 Longbai balls are planted inside. On the east side of the flower rack is the sink bed flower bed, which covers an area of 476 square meters. It is rectangular. It is made of square steel bent into a semicircle with a diameter of 0.5 meters. There is a 2 meter wide passage in the middle of each side. It divides the flower bed into five pieces. Except for the oval one in the center, the four corners are polygonal. The floor is paved with bricks, and grass flowers are planted in the four seasons.

Allegory sculpture

Most of the fable sculptures are on both sides of the garden road in the southeast of Daning Lingshi Park, and the rest are scattered in the northeast and southwest. The content is mainly Chinese ancient fables, and there are two sculptures of Aesop's Fables on the platform. WenJiQiWu, located in the southeast of the flower rack, is a statue of zuwei holding a sword dancing in WenJiQiWu. The statue is made of red copper, 1.2 meters high. The four sides of the granite base are 0.96 meters long and 1 meter high. Kong Rong rang pear is located in the south of the flower rack of the porch style, to the west of the chicken dance. The statue is Kong Rong who pushes and lets the pear. The image body is granite, 1.3 meters high. The granite base is 2.16 meters long, 0.97 meters wide and 0.54 meters high.

Dock Lake Harbor

Dock lake port is located near the north gate of the park. There are speedboats, electric boats and pedal boats at the cruise terminal. You can walk up the steps to the top platform of the dock. You can watch the mountains and the lake.

Man made mountain

The man-made mountain is located in the north of Daning Lingshi park. It is a man-made mountain with a height of 19 meters. It is the most artificial rockery in Shanghai.

Up to 2004, there were 8300 trees, mainly Cinnamomum camphora, Magnolia grandiflora, Metasequoia glyptostroboides, and nearly 10000 square meters of other shrubs.

The park has 310000 trees and shrubs, 216 thousand square meters of lawn and ground cover plants, and more than 200 plant species.

Entertainment

Artificial lake belt: a wide road around the artificial lake. Bicycles are not allowed in the park.

White beach boating: you can rent electric boat and pedal boat to add fun to the park, enjoy all kinds of flowers and plants along the way, and enjoy the scenery.

Fishing: there is a professional fishing ground in the "lakeside wetland" of the park, and you need to bring your own fishing tools.

Development and construction

The Lingshi Park in Daning was planned in the late 1980s and established in the mid-1990s.

In October 2000, the construction of the Lingshi Park in Daning was started.

In December 2001, Daning Lingshi Park was basically completed.

On May 1, 2002, the Lingshi Park in Daning was officially opened to the public.

In April 2004, the former Guangzhong Park was merged into the Lingshi Park in Daning.

Park features

The design concept of Daning Lingshi Park focuses on cultural connotation, people-oriented, and constructs a "harmonious coexistence between man and nature". In the design style, it advocates imitating nature, inheriting history, paying attention to the combination of Chinese and western, blending ancient and modern, and creating a hilly landscape characterized by mountain and water management, ups and downs, taking natural landscape as the framework, trees, shrubs, lawns, ground cover plants and Shanghai The rare swamp is an ecological landscape park with organic configuration.
