Qingshan Lake Park is located in the northwest of Huangshi City, Hubei Province. The park was built in 1975 with a total area of 74.23 hectares and a water area of 39.20 hectares. The park has beautiful scenery with mountains and rivers. The garden is rich in vegetation with the fragrance of birds and flowers; the trees in the forest are luxuriant and the flowers are brilliant; the lake is rippling and beautiful. It is a comprehensive park integrating animal watching, scenic sightseeing, fitness and entertainment. Scenic spots in the park include: Bingshan crouching cow, Songtao Wenying Pavilion, Shuijing garden, shuangyuchi, santing bridge, sanchu Yiqu, huahun, Youfang garden and four seasons scenery. Today's Qingshanhu park has become a part of Hubei Normal University. The zoo and amusement facilities in the past no longer exist. However, this park with a history of more than 30 years still makes people forget to return with its unique charm. Children play here, young people enjoy love here, middle-aged and old people exercise here. Development history

Since 2004, the city government put Qingshanhu Park under the extension of Hushi campus, the recreational function of Qingshanhu park has been basically lost, and the public calls for a replacement park. The reporter learned from the city's relevant departments: our city will use 3-5 years to build and improve the Dazhong mountain scenic spot, so that the general public can have a good recreational environment without going far. Speaking of Dazhong mountain, it is really an undeveloped green pure land in Huangshi, "raised in the boudoir, people do not know.". It is located in Huangshi port area, with Cihu in the south, Qingshanhu Park in the East, Huahu in the north and Huangshi hi tech Industrial Development Zone in the West. The total area of the scenic spot is 4.07 square kilometers. There is a Qinggang lake on Suoqian road of Dazhong mountain, which is larger than Qingshan Lake. There is a ya'er Lake beside Qinggang lake, which is the site of the new zoo. It's a paradise for animals. Dazhong mountain scenic spot is close to Qingshan Lake Park, located in the hinterland of the city, with good natural ecology and rich landscape resources. It is the most ideal alternative to Qingshan Lake Park.

The master plan of Dazhong mountain breeze scenic area has been basically completed, which includes five functional areas: climbing and sightseeing area, ecological viewing area, science and technology education area, outdoor recreation area and leisure service area. According to the preliminary calculation, after the construction, it will attract 500000-700000 tourists a year and boost consumption by about 100 million yuan. However, the zoo will not be built immediately. The size of the zoo and the species of animals will be demonstrated with the improvement of the landscape.

Now walking along the Bank of Qingshan Lake, you can see flat sightseeing trees, exquisite flowers and neat street lamps everywhere. Although the tigers and monkeys in the past have disappeared, the popularity of Qingshanhu park has not declined. The park has not only become an important place for education, but also derived the side functions of fitness and leisure venues for nearby residents.
