In 1991, Wu Shunsheng proposed to take advantage of the opportunity of renovating the flood control dyke to build the dyke into an art wall with both flood control and cultural taste. Changde Municipal Party committee and municipal government quickly adopted this proposal and took 10 years to build this large-scale cultural project with distinctive artistic characteristics, taking Yuanjiang flood control dyke as the carrier.
In 2000, Changde Municipal Party committee and people's government implemented the "Shiqiang, Bund, Yuanshui echelon development" plan, relocated Shiqiang Bund sand and gravel field, demolished all the original buildings, and elaborately built Shiqiang park. After three years of construction, it has formed a six li long scenic belt. More than 130 kinds of trees, such as gingko, Cinnamomum camphora, willow and banyan, are planted in the park, with more than 60000 square meters of water-resistant grass skin. Chapter overview
Preface to Chang De's Poems
Wuling old county, Changde new city, a collection of mountains and rivers, is the source of humanities. If the words and forms are successful, the Li River reflects thousands of peaks and flows green, while the Yuan river carries thousands of valleys and struggles for flow. Huping is the first place in the Wuling mountains. It controls Bashu and brings Dongting. It connects Jingxiang with Yunnan and Guizhou. It is the mouthpiece of the three Chus and the throat of the two Chuans. When the sun is rising, the new moon is shining, and the sound of the city is not heard, the walking clogs are gradually far away, and one stick is leisurely drawn, singing and forgetting; seeing the waves, sailing up and down, is like walking in front of Qili beach in the fragrance kingdom. The heart is clear, the eyes are engaged, the ears are resourceful, and the music is boundless. In terms of humanity, he is good at writing down the world and is famous for his escape. In Chunshen, he is famous for his cultivation of scholars. In Sanlu, he is nostalgic for his old capital because he was in vain. In Wuliu, he is a tyrant because he is in Taoyuan. When Langzhou was banished, Liu Yuxi turned over bamboo branches, and Fan Zhongyan still had a good story. Li qunyu's poems focus on Tang Dynasty, while Jiang Yingke's poems focus on Taoyuan. There are many ancient books and records of Sigui, which can be known later. In the contemporary era, Heroes rise together, and the literary movement is not declining. Song Jiaoren
