Fairy Cave
Xianren cave is located at the West foot of Tianchi in Lushan Mountain. It's a rock cave made of sand cliffs. Due to the continuous weathering of nature and the long-term erosion of mountains and rivers, natural caves are gradually formed. Because of its shape like bergamot, it is called Bergamot rock. The flying rock here can live, the spring can wash the heart, overlooking the mountain, the vast clouds, the river, quite far away from the world. It is not only the most popular scenic spot for tourists, but also a blessed place for Taoism. It is said that Lu Dongbin, a famous Taoist in Tang Dynasty, once practiced in this cave until he became an immortal. Later generations changed the name of Buddha's hand rock to immortal cave.
inscription
The entrance of Xianren cave is a round stone gate. "Immortal cave" is engraved on the square of the door. There is a couplet engraved on the left and right: "the wizard of fairies, the Yellow Crane, remembers the white lotus." When you enter the round gate, you will see a huge stone lying in the mountain, just like a big toad stretching his legs to jump, known as "toad stone". There is a pine on the stone, named Shisong. The stone pines spread out two green arms in the air, embracing each other. Its branches and leaves are dense, dense and full of vitality: its roots are bare, but it can stand upright in the wind for thousands of years, which fully shows the unique strong and unyielding character of Lushan pine, which can be called a wonder of Mount Kuangshan. The stone surface of Panasonic is engraved with the four characters of "flying clouds", which is said to be written by Chen Sanli, a poet in the late Qing Dynasty and the early Republic of China. Along the stone path meandering down, between the green cliffs, a cave suddenly opened. The cave is 7 meters high and more than 14 meters deep. The wall of the cave is crisscrossed with ice and rocks, and it is crisscrossed horizontally, which clearly records its long history. This is the immortal cave. Inside the cave, there is a stone pavilion, Chunyang hall. Inside the hall stands a statue of Lu Chunyang (Dongbin) with a sword stone on his back. There are two pairs of couplets on both sides: "teacher or ancestor, Taoism or Confucianism", "thousand year old supernatural cave, Yueyang three drunk immortals". In the deepest part of the cave, there are two springs falling along the stone and dripping into the natural stone cellar. The sound of Ding Dong is pleasant. This is the "one drop spring" recorded in the book of the later Han Dynasty. The outside of the stone cellar is made of stone slabs and columns. The stone column is engraved with the couplet of "the mountain is high, the water drops are constant for thousands of years, and the clear spring flows forever". The spring water is crystal clear and its taste is sweet. Water contains a variety of minerals, more than a large, protruding bowl does not overflow, nickel flat does not sink. Here, green peaks compete with strange rocks, and green springs compete with secluded caves. The clouds around the hole, sometimes as thick as ink, sometimes as light as smoke, changing. Beside the cave, under the pale rocks, there is a pavilion with painted brackets and flying eaves, named Laojun hall. The hall is a single story building of Xieshan style. The whole building is solemn and light. For the statue of Li * * riding an ox.
legend
Since Zhu Yuanzhang established the Daming regime, in order to maintain his rule, to show that he was the "son of heaven", with the help of God, he compiled a lot of myths in this respect, and most of these myths are related to immortal cave. It is said that after Zhu Yuanzhang became emperor, he suddenly suffered from fever and was on the verge of death, so the imperial doctors were helpless. The barefoot monk who suddenly reported the immortal cave in Lushan Mountain gave the heavenly eye and immortal Zhou Dian warm medicine. After Zhu Yuanzhang took it, he recovered immediately. The emperor Longxin was very happy and asked the emissary to look for the immortal in Lushan Mountain. When the emissary came to the path of Xianren cave to look for it, there was no temple, only the word "Zhulin Temple" carved on the huge stone of cangyan. The emissary said he was surprised and returned to Beijing. Zhu Yuanzhang then built a pavilion for visiting immortals beside the inscription. Pavilion side path is also known as "fairy road". After passing the "immortal visiting Pavilion" and going along the "immortal road", you will arrive at the "new immortal visiting Pavilion". It is said that during the period of the Republic of China, Chiang Kai Shek, Song Meiling and Marshall once came to the pavilion to enjoy the moon tea on a night when the stars were bright and the wind was slightly clear. They sat in the pavilion and watched the strange peaks swallow the moon. The stars twinkled. They were very relaxed and comfortable. On the cliff overhanging wall around the cave, there are more than ten ancient inscriptions, such as "yungen", "Bergamot rock", "together in the same boat", "Zhou Daofu", "sages enjoy this", "Xianyuan Wuer", "overview qunzhen" and "Changle Wo Jing". These majestic, handsome, fast and elegant Moyan stone carvings add a bit of charm and affection to Qingfeng xiuluan, and lead the eyes of future generations to the depth of history. Based on the immortal cave, from the mouth of the valley to the distance, a school of simple, quiet and beautiful natural scenery. Lin Yuncheng wrote in his poem "the rhyme of bergamot rock": "the cave is cold, the slurry is cold, the autumn is deep, and the forest is full of leaves. The frost bell flows into the valley at night, and the rain brake hangs the blue clouds. "In his poem, he wrote about the late autumn season when the plants are shaking and the White Dew is frost. In this season, when you are in the immortal cave, it is better to have a fairy dream.
