The west of Tianzishan Nature Reserve has a large area and scattered scenic spots. Fengqi mountain, formerly known as Fengqi mountain, has a courtyard built by Xiang Wang, the leader of Tujia uprising army, at the middle of the mountain. It is called Xiang Jia courtyard, and only remains today. Another peak rises on the opposite side of the mountain. It is tall and steep. It is expected to be tens of miles away. It is said that Xiang Wang once set up a post on it to watch the enemy's situation. Therefore, it is called Haozi mountain and Ziyu. Other scenic spots in the area mainly include Quzi xingyin, tianzijing, Chaplin rock, Gumei Dusan, etc.

It's named after a stone in the mountain that looks like a phoenix's head. The stone is dark brown, covered with green trees and bamboos, with sharp stones protruding from the top, like a phoenix beak. The lush vegetation is like a shaking emerald phoenix screen. Fengqi has many caves, dense forests and beautiful peaks, which are full of primitive wild interest. Fengqi mountain is located in the western part of the emperor. It can reach Jinbian stream directly to the four gates.

Tianzijing is located at the east end of the scenic spot. It is a big fountain. Sometimes it is more than 1 meter high. The spring water is cool and delicious in hot summer. In severe winter, the water temperature reaches 20 ℃. It is suitable for bathing. It is said that this well water can cure diseases and prolong life by drinking it all the year round.

Traffic information

It's about 30 kilometers from Chongzhou station to fengqishan. On the right side of the gate of Chongzhou's passenger transport center, there is a white passenger van directly to Jiezi. It takes about 40 minutes to get to Jiezi. When you get to Jiezi terminal, you can walk, take three rounds, and get there in 10 minutes. The whole journey takes about one hour.
