Quanhua Beach

Quanhua beach is a kind of rare karst terrain. Maybe bees who have been to Huanglong will feel that the calcified pool in front of them is familiar, but Quanhua beach is more mysterious and beautiful. She hides in a hollow valley surrounded by mountains on three sides. From the top of another mountain, a large area of white calcified soil inclines down. When it reaches the bottom of the valley, it changes into four colorful calcified pools, just like a fairyland.

Quanhua beach is more than 900 meters long and more than 100 meters wide, with a total of 8 Quanhua terraces. The "Yingbin pool" located at the bottom is the largest and the most colorful of the eight calcification pools, and the one with a shape similar to human palm is called "bazhang pool". Here, all we have to do is to see her beauty and freeze the moment with the lens.

Quanhua Beach

Quanhuatan is located in Yulongxi village, gonggashan township (formerly Liuba township), Kangding City, on the west slope of Gongga Mountain, with an altitude of about 4000 meters. It belongs to alpine valley meadow landform. To the southeast is Gongga Mountain, which is the best place to see the king of Shu mountain in Quanhua beach. Quanhua beach is formed by the chemical precipitation of a kind of spring water containing a large amount of chemical substances on the surface. It is more than 900 meters long and more than 100 meters wide, and forms eight spring terraces along the mountain. On each terrace, there are more than ten colorful pools of different sizes and shapes. The water depth is 40-70 cm. The water and grass in the pools depend on each other, and the stone flowers are dotted. It is suspected that the Yao pool came to the world.

D1: Chengdu Yaan Luding

Stay in Luding after Ya'an and Tianquan.

Time: 280 km, 5 hours

Altitude: Erlangshan Tunnel 2170m, Luding 1290m

D2: Luding shade shangmuju Zimei pass

After passing Kangding, the hometown of love songs, I climb over the zhedo mountain, which is 4298 meters above sea level, and then go to shangmuju to stay in the local inn. Then I change into a minivan to watch the sunset at shangzimeiyakou. This is one of the best places to shoot the sunset in Gongga Mountain area.

Altitude: 3400m in shade, 3600m in Liuba Township and 4550m in zimeiyakou

D3: shangmuju quanhuatan jiagenba Xinduqiao

After breakfast, take a bus to Quanhua beach, then withdraw to jiagenba, and take photos while walking. Stay in Xinduqiao hotel in the evening.

Altitude: 4100m at quanhuatan, 3300m at Xinduqiao
