Dezhou Grand Theater is located in the southeast corner of Dezhou Sports Center, adjacent to KangBo Avenue in the East and Dongfanghong road in the south. The total construction area of the project is 38100 square meters, with 5 floors above the ground and 3 floors underground. The main body height is 23.7 meters (38.2 meters in some parts). Solar photovoltaic system and other new energy, new technology and new materials are widely used. The design highlights the artistic effect of "flowing notes, open curtain and blooming waves".

Introduction to architecture

Dezhou Grand Theater is located in the southeast corner of Dezhou Sports Center, including a 1500 seat opera house, a 600 seat multi-functional variable theater, a 150 seat video lecture hall, rehearsal hall and other supporting facilities. With a construction area of 39200 square meters and a main height of 23.7 meters, the 10th China Art Festival will open in Jinan on October 11, and the Dezhou Grand Theater will undertake important tasks such as the performance of Wenhua award.

The meaning of sketch architecture

Sail means "opening the curtain of culture"

Outside the Dezhou Grand Theater, the main entrance on the second floor platform and the arc-shaped vertical perforated plates on both sides are shaped like sails in the wind, which attract people's attention. According to reports, these sails vary in height, a total of 40, the highest one is located in the southwest corner, 39.1 meters. From above, these sails are like a big curtain of culture and art. The Grand Theater adopts a curvilinear layout that is compatible with the surrounding environment, with the stage tower as the center, the main body shape is oval, and the arc-shaped wall is cleverly extended to form a rhythmic note shape, which is flexible and rhythmic; the external square adopts the landscape design with the implication of waves, which is vivid and rhythmic.

Appearance of Opera House

"China Red" surrounds the Opera House

Opera house is the most eye-catching performance place of Dezhou Grand Theater, which will undertake the important tasks of ten Arts Festival Wenhua award performance. Enter the door, surrounded by "China Red" and a little yellow light, creating a romantic atmosphere. According to the staff, the opera house is located on the west side of the building, with separate entrances and exits along the South Main Square on the first floor to meet the function of the opera house. The audience can go through six escalators, two vertical stairs and two groups of stairs to the audience lounge around the first to fourth floors of the Opera House auditorium. The rest hall is equipped with facilities such as wardrobe and leisure teahouse. The stage of the opera house adopts the traditional "pin" shape, with five functions of pushing, pulling, ascending, descending and turning. The main stage area is 2200 square meters, which is suitable for opera, dance, ballet, large-scale magic and other performances. The auditorium of the opera house is a horseshoe shaped plane with 1542 seats. The auditorium is equipped with one floor pool seat and three floors box seat. The design of box seat combines the characteristics of classical opera house, and the interior space is luxurious and elegant. "The lighting and sound facilities in the opera house are leading in China, which will bring pleasant audio-visual enjoyment to the audience." According to the staff's introduction, in view of the high requirements for sound in the Grand Theater, sound-absorbing boards are set inside the theater, and the air conditioning adopts the air supply in the lower chamber of the seats, so as to achieve the purpose of silence.

Theater function

Variable theater with multiple functions

The multi-functional and variable theater is located in the east of the building, with a total of 4 floors and an independent entrance. On the first floor, there are conference room, VIP lounge and multi-function variable theater; on the second floor, there are lecture hall and rehearsal hall, where the audience can enter through the entrance of the first floor or separate outdoor steps, which can meet the film screening function. The main stage of the theater is a straight line, with an area of 378 square meters. There are three lifting platforms and more than 600 audience seats on the stage. There are push-pull seats in the venue, which can be pulled out when in use and put in when not in use. Temporary seats, assembly stage, etc. are mainly used for small-scale drama performance, report meeting, press conference, clothing conference, small variety show, etc. The lecture hall has 150 seats to meet the functions of meeting and video material projection.

City sharing Hall

The city sharing hall provides 3400 square meters of activity space

The city sharing hall is located on the first and second floors in the middle of the city. It is an important public space connecting the opera house and the multi-functional variable theater, with an area of about 3400 square meters. This is the main activity place for the public. The audience can enter directly from the main square on the south side through the large outdoor steps. From here, they can turn left to reach the auditorium on the second floor of the opera house, turn right to reach the multi-function variable theater and lecture hall, and go north to the hydrophilic square on the north side. There is also a theme exhibition area and other rest space to meet the needs of public spiritual and cultural life.
