Helong Bridge
Helong bridge was first built by Helong's great grandfather. It is a wind and rain bridge made up of wind and rain. He Tingzai was enthusiastic about public welfare. Seeing that the Yuquan river was "running fast and the road was blocked", the pedestrians were very inconvenient, so he decided to build the bridge. Because he was only a scholar who taught in private schools, the bridge construction project was arduous, and his personal funds were limited. Later, he long's grandfather, he liangshizi, worked hard on behalf of his father, and finally built it in 1915, which was praised by his neighbors. In the spring of 1916, after he long cut bamaoxi salt tax bureau, Sangzhi yuan Minjun was set up at the end of the bridge, and he long was promoted as the commander in chief. In the spring of 1928, he long, Zhou Yiqun and others returned to hongjiaguan to organize a team of more than 3000 people in order to realize the strategic plan of the central government's "regional separatist regime", and declared this team as the workers' and peasants' Revolutionary Army on this bridge. The bridge suffered many misfortunes because of human disasters and floods. In November 1929, the bridge was demolished by Chen cexun of the reactionary regiment. In the autumn of 1937, local people raised funds to rebuild it. In May 1940, it was washed down by flood. In October 1950, Sangzhi County government paid for the reconstruction. It was completed in the winter of 1952 and named "Helong bridge". On July 23, 1998, the bridge was washed away by the worst flood in a hundred years. In December of that year, the people's Government of Sangzhi County paid for the reconstruction. Now the bridge is restored as it was.

Helong bridge project is a 7-span simply supported bridge with a length of 184m and a span combination of 2 × 25m + 40m + 3 × 25m + 13m. A total of 22 T-beams are prefabricated, including 3 T-beams of 40m main span, 15 T-beams of 25m main span and 4 hollow slabs of 13m. The project is located in Bianhe Town, Jianli County, in the hinterland of Honghu Lake, crossing Luoshan main canal from east to west.
Affected by the poor soil quality and inconvenient transportation in the lake area, the large-scale bridge erecting equipment can not enter the site, and the safety of T-beam transfer and hoisting of Helong bridge is facing a severe test! Through the comparison, screening and research of more than 20 professional bridge construction units in China, Helong bridge project department finally determined that the lifting of Helong bridge body is the longitudinal "fishing" scheme of derrick.
In order to ensure safety, in the process of T-beam hoisting, the management office, construction and supervision department ensure the quality, progress and safety production of the project through key management of key links. The first is to strengthen the treatment of the transfer subgrade, repeatedly refuel and roll the beam transport road, increase the bearing capacity of the foundation, and cast the 13 m hollow slab as the transfer Subgrade after it has been hoisted in place, so as to increase the stress area and support the bottom. The second is to strengthen the safety inspection of hoisting equipment, highlight the monitoring of hoisting cables, hoists and other equipment, and put an end to the "sick" work of equipment. The third is to strengthen the management of the construction site. All non staff are forbidden to enter the construction site. During the hoisting period, the land and water traffic is closed and controlled.
The bending moment and shear force of three main beams of Helong bridge with a dead weight of more than 100 tons, passing through 13 m hollow slab and 25 m T beam, exceed the design load of the bridge (car-15, trailer-80), indirectly testing the quality of the bridge structure.
On May 27, 2008, the helongqiao project of Luoshan Main Canal waterway project in Jingzhou City passed the evaluation of the evaluation team composed of the provincial port and navigation bureau and the quality inspection and supervision station of Jingzhou Transportation Bureau, and was assessed as qualified. Helongqiao project is a supporting project for navigation construction of Luoshan main canal in Jingzhou City. It is located in Bianhe Town, Jianli County, and in the hinterland of Honghu Lake. It crosses Luoshan main canal from east to West (connecting the Yangtze River and the throat channel of Sihu main canal). The project started on March 30, 2003, with a total length of 534.622 meters, including a seven span simply supported beam bridge and the connecting line between the two banks.
At present, the 300 DWT huanzikou double track lock, the 32.4 km waterway dredging of Luoshan main canal and the new Helong bridge have been completed and accepted.
