Luomu ancient town
Luomu ancient town, also known as qinglongchang, is a famous historical and cultural town in Sichuan Province
It was built in 618 A.D. in the first year of Wude, Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty. It was already inhabited during the Shang and Zhou dynasties. It is said that it was the first stop of the tea horse ancient road from the plain to the mountainous area in the Ming and Qing Dynasties. So far, it has maintained many traditional handicrafts and traditional snacks. Er'e mountain, adjacent to Luomu ancient town, is the main birthplace of "the seventh cave of Taoism" in Emei Mountain. There is a legend that LV Dongbin once had a recreation. Up to now, many Taoist relics are still preserved. Every year, there is a grand pilgrimage on the sixth day of the sixth lunar month. In recent years, the newly developed water rafting project "Luomu impression" has brought different vitality and charm to this ancient town
.
Current situation of ancient town
It was first built in the first year of Wude, Emperor Gaozu of Tang Dynasty (618 AD). Originally, it was a county at the same level as Emei and suishan, belonging to the jurisdiction of ancient Jiazhou. In the fourth year of Qiande in Song Dynasty (966 AD), the county was changed into a town and merged into Emei county. It is one of the five famous towns of Emei in Song Dynasty. Luomu ancient town has a long history. Although the county was officially established in the Tang Dynasty, it was inhabited as early as the Shang and Zhou dynasties. Because it is located at the foot of er'e mountain, and the development age of er'e mountain is earlier than that of present-day Emei Mountain (da'e mountain), many famous figures in history have been active in today's Luomu area as early as Shang and Zhou dynasties.
As time goes by, the town is still ancient. The town retains the charm of ancient dwellings. Shunhe street, Wannian Road, banbian street, through any street of the ancient town, you can see many old wooden houses with mortise and tenon, carved dragon and painted Phoenix. Wooden houses often face the street and are paved with upper trough boards. The side of the pavement is open, and through the long corridor, there is a small courtyard courtyard after entering. Often three generations or several families of a family live together under the same courtyard. Carved lintels, wooden lattice windows, moss in front of the steps, and green vines on the walls all seem to tell people a long story in silence.
The town retains its traditional handicrafts. There are four or five blacksmiths in half the street. The "HuLong" sound of the bellows and the "Ding Ding Ding" sound of the chopping board add some pleasant notes to the quiet town. Next, there are more than a dozen bamboo furniture stores, with bamboo woven baskets, baskets, bamboo hats, straw chops, steamers and other living and production appliances on the street.
There are many traditional snacks in the town. Pig blood soup, steamed sausage, braised beef and bean curd are all cheap snacks in the town. The shop is small and affordable. When you are hungry, you can sit inside and have a bowl of white and tender bean curd, or spicy xuewang soup, golden crispy powder, fried soybeans, turnip, red and bright hot pepper. The condiments alone make you salivate.
Tradition and fashion coexist in the small town. On the stone road and on the street side of the town, you can often see such strange scenery: businessmen in leather shoes and farmers in straw sandals; fashionable women wearing lipstick and tikunbao wipe their shoulders with peasant women wearing cloth clothes and vegetables; fashionable "brother Cao" and old man smoking dry tobacco sit in the same Teahouse Changing and unchanging, the town has come for thousands of years, like the stream on the street, flowing quietly and never looking back.
Ancient town gets its name
Since the Qin and Han Dynasties, Emei has a history of more than 2600 years. Emei, as an ancient kingdom of Shu, first appeared in Luomu county when King Huiwang of Qin Dynasty conquered Shu (316 BC) and moved all the families of Qin people into Shu. "Taiping Huanyu Ji" said: "Qin (homophonic Jing) water near Luomu County," Qin water in the county (Emei) west 120 Li. ". It can be seen that the Qinshui River should be the Jinkou River, and Luomu county should be the shaping area of Ebian, bordering on Emei. The main reason is that the Qin people among the immigrants think of the Jingshui river of Qin, but hujinkou river is the Jingshui river.
According to the records of the history of the Tang Dynasty, in the second year of Tang Linde (655 AD), in order to appease the Liao people, they set up Tuohe city (now Ebian shaping) and muzhou and Luomu counties 90 kilometers southeast of the county (Emei). After several changes, it was only in the Song Dynasty that Luomu county was transferred to the present Luomu town in Emei county. "The high mountain is called Emei, and the beautiful water is called Mei". The name of Emei Mountain comes from the mountain landform, and the name of Emei county comes from Emei Mountain, which also leads to the name of Luomu town
Luomu town gets its name: according to the records of Jiading prefecture (mountains and rivers), "Luomeng mountain" is more than 190 Li south of the county (Emei), "music history" says that Luomu old county is 3 li north, not 20 li away from the county. According to the geographical records of Tang Dynasty, three years later, Yifeng set up Luomu County, which is now Luomu Town, not the old Luomu county (shaping). According to the records of the Local Chronicles (historical sites), "Luomu County in the Tang Dynasty was abandoned.". Taking Luomu mountain as the name (Luomu river goes straight into Dadu River below), Luomeng mountain and Luomu mountain are homophonic. There are two versions of the same historical records, and the homophony is wrong.
Qinglong Town got its name: according to the annals of Yuanhe Prefecture, pingqiang county was changed to Emei in the third year of kaihuang reign, Emei to Qingyi County in the ninth year, and Qingyi county to Longyou County in the thirteenth year. It is difficult to find out whether the name of Qinglong Town is based on the evolution of Emei, which shows the word "Qinglong" in the two counties of Qingyi and Longyou.
During the period of the Republic of China, there were 13 Township farms and 17 Township offices in Emei County, among which Qinglong was one of the key towns. According to folklore, Emperor Kangxi of the Qing Dynasty traveled to Qinglong to seek medical treatment, where he built the Yiwang temple. There is a Dragon Ridge. The dragon head is on the boundary of Yangguang Village (today's Luomu middle school). The ancient Luomu street here should be the homonym of "Longmu" street, and the dragon tail should be Luogang (Longgang homonym) on the boundary of Shuijing village. At the junction of Gaoqiao Town and Luomu Town, there used to be a stone arch bridge with a width of 2 meters, named "Qinglong bridge", which is the only place for Lingya Temple monks to purchase living materials (the site still exists today). At the foot of er'e mountain (a famous Taoist mountain) and Bailu mountain, there used to be a large-scale stone arch tile wood structure corridor bridge "dragon and Phoenix Bridge" (under the bridge there is a dragon and phoenix head and tail bridge arch guard), a rectangular 2.5-meter-high stone tablet with three characters of "Dragon and Phoenix Bridge" in seal script, which is said to be written by Lu Chunyang, one of the eight immortals; beside the bridge there is a stone lion guard. Local people say that the model of Shuangfu corridor bridge is the reconstruction of Qinglong corridor bridge "Longfeng bridge"; the stone tablet of Longfeng bridge has been moved to "Eshan gongnongbing reservoir" for inscription. When people concerned talk about cultural relics and historic sites, there are dozens of places named after Qinglong in China and Sichuan. It is a last resort to replace them with Luomu ancient town. 87 year old Yang Yueheng said that it is difficult to accept the name of Luomu town. He suggested that "Longfeng town" be named instead of "Qinglong Town".

Ancient mountains and scenery
According to Mingshan Ji, Emei mountain range comes from Qionglai mountain. In the name of Taoism, it is called Xuling Dongtian, also known as lingmiao Taimiao Tian. There are eight small caves in 20, two large caves in 10, and two stone niches in 110. In ancient times, it was called "thirty-two caves and seventy-two blessed places". Today, Mount Emei is 15 kilometers away from the city of Emei. It is also known as fupeng mountain (suishan), also known as zhong'e mountain. Its height is reduced by half of that of Emei. It is said that ge you, a famous mountain traveler, rode a wooden sheep into the mountain and ate the flat peaches of suishan mountain to become an immortal. In Tang Dynasty, Li Bai visited er'e mountain and wrote the famous prose poem "the difficulty of Shu Road" to show that Mount Emei is superior to the five mountains.
According to the records of "mountains and rivers" and "people", Gexian cave is located in suishan (today's er'e mountain), "GeYou" belongs to Qiang people, and King Cheng of Zhou often carved wood to sell for sheep. One day, riding sheep into Shu, the princes and nobles of Shu overtook suishan. Then those who do not return, all get the fairy way. Hometown proverb said: "suishan peach, although not immortal, but also proud." Lu Dongbin, one of the Eight Immortals in the legend of Tang Dynasty, was born in Guanyou. He was promoted by Xiantong. He lived in seclusion in Zhongnan mountain and studied Laozi's method. He was more than 100 years old and looked like a baby. There is a scenic spot and historic site 1.5km away from the South Bank of luomulin river
