King Ming is the incarnation of Buddha and Bodhisattva to subdue the demons. True and false miscellany 13 says: "the meaning of light in the Ming Dynasty is a symbol of wisdom. The so-called anger body uses wisdom to destroy the master of trouble and karma, so it is called the king of the Ming Dynasty." In esoteric Buddhism, a person who obeys the orders of the Tathagata and shows anger in order to summon all living beings. The peacock king is also known as the "Buddha mother peacock king". Generally, the king is angry, which makes ordinary people feel difficult to get close to. The Peacock King Ming is elegant, kind and amiable, and has a poetic peacock as his mount. In ancient India, it is said that peacock was the natural enemy of poisonous snake and was deified. Peacock King Ming is the incarnation of peacock God. It is said that she is a female with four arms. She holds lotus, Juyuan fruit, auspicious fruit and peacock's tail in her hands and sits on the rosette, which is carried on the peacock's back. Peacock King Ming has the colorful wings of a male peacock on his back, which is very powerful and beautiful. The God can eliminate poison and disaster, and calm the changes of heaven and earth.
With the passage of time, the peacock temple, which was once prosperous with incense, has become depressed and dilapidated. In those days, the peacock cave could be preserved only by a family outside the cave. During the cultural revolution, people said that they would blow up the peacock cave, but because this family lived here, the peacock Mingwang cave and its kitchen could not be destroyed separately, so the peacock cave was preserved. Many years ago, the house collapsed and disappeared. It is said that the state gave the family 500 yuan for management and 300 yuan for dog food, and ordered them to take charge of the cultural relics. However, the money actually fell into the hands of the family was only 300 yuan for people and 100 yuan for dog food, and the rest was deducted by that level.
The peacock cave was partially damaged in the May 12 earthquake. In order to preserve the rare grottoes, Anyue County has repaired and reinforced peacock cave and Mingshan temple. On June 21, 2012, Sichuan Provincial Administration of cultural relics organized experts to inspect and accept the environmental renovation project of cliff statues in the wofoyuan in Anyue County, and the post disaster rescue project of mingshansi grottoes and kongkedong grottoes. Today, the old look has changed. The peacock cave in the deep mountain is no longer luxuriant and uninhabited, but protected under the eaves of the newly built cave. Now, it is the place where friends who are searching for the ancient and the secluded come to Anyue to search for treasures.

The legend of stone pagoda
It is said that there was an old well at the top of the mountain. The water was clear, and some good people poured into the chaff. In less than half a day, they came out of the river at the foot of the mountain. Later, demons came out of the well and brought disaster to the people. There was an eminent monk, wearing a Dharma crown, wearing a Dharma suit, straw sandals, holding a whip to drive demons, preparing a incense table, singing gongs and drums, who went down the well to suppress demons. Before going down the well, the eminent monk told the young monk, "if you see the straw sandals dancing in the well, you will beat the war drum fiercely and cheer for me." The eminent monk just went down the well, and sure enough, he danced with straw sandals. Unfortunately, the little monk only watched the fighting with straw sandals, but forgot to beat gongs and drums. As a result, the eminent monk died of exhaustion at the bottom of the well and was eaten by a monster. The little monk was very sad and indignant. He was the only one who did not omit to attack and recite the Buddhist scriptures to make up for his merits and demerits. He specially built the Sutra pagoda on the ancient well to suppress the demons. It's worth seeing anyway.
Legend of peacock cave
It is said that shuanglongjie township was the former peacock farm. It was the only way to Chengdu and Chongqing in ancient times. It was also an important town for soldiers and bandits in the past dynasties. With dense trees and mild climate, it was where peacocks lived. Peacocks could be seen everywhere at that time, so it was called peacock farm. In the peacock farm, there is a resident named Kong Si. His family is so poor that they have no rice to cook. They all depend on wild vegetables for a living, because both of them are seriously ill and have no money to cure. There are also two children who are a few years old. They have to drag their weak bodies up the mountain to look for wild vegetables. One day, the whole family was carrying wild vegetables, and suddenly a beautiful peacock came from outside. Standing above the center of the main room, he did not move. He just screamed. Seeing this, Confucius thought that maybe the peacock was hungry, so he went to bed. Confucius could not help but put the wild vegetables in the bowl in front of the peacock. Then the peacock ate them, called "better, better", and flew away. At night, Kong Longxiang dreamed that his ancestors were on the peacock's back and on the lotus. Ask Kong Si to come to him. As soon as Kong Si gets rid of him, he says, "everything is fine with you. Be diligent.". As soon as Kong Si heard two sentences, he woke up and couldn't sleep any more. As soon as it was light, he called his wife up and walked around the mountain quickly and slowly. He felt very comfortable and strong. He seemed to have recovered completely. The husband and wife are very smart. They hoe the slope and open up wasteland. Because of their hard work, they had a good harvest in that year. The cows, pigs and sheep are bright, and they are not sick. Life is better. There are happy smiles on the faces of the whole family. It's really nice to be a man, and there are lots of poultry. One day, sitting in the courtyard, Kong Xiangxiang thought about what happened. Could it be that the ancestors of the Kong family came to light and cured us. The peacock that flew in that day may be the incarnation of our ancestors. It was he who saved us. Otherwise, there is no today. We will never forget his kindness and decided to carve an ancestor and a peacock statue to worship. Kongsi told his wife what he thought, and she agreed immediately. Kongsi invited a skilled stonecutter to carve on the rock next to his house. After several months of layout and carving, a peacock cave with fine craftsmanship, exquisite art, complete layout and rich content was displayed in front of the people.
