Liuqinghe Village

Liuqinghe village, located 7.5km to the east of Shazikou sub district office in Qingdao City, Shandong Province, and adjacent to dongmaiyao village in the west, is the easternmost village of Shazikou street. It is composed of liuqinghe, Baoyu Island, dapinglan and xiaopinglan. Liuqinghe is the largest of the four natural villages. It gets its name because it is located on the east slope of liuqinghe estuary.

Economic situation

The ancestors of the residents made a living by fishing for fish and shrimp, cutting firewood and grass, planting sweet potatoes and peach apricots. Since the Third Plenary Session of the Eleventh Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, liuqinghe people have seized the opportunity to develop their economy. First, they have vigorously developed marine aquaculture and fishing. Now there are more than 40 boats in the community, farming more than 20 acres of scallops and 100 acres of abalone. The second is to seize the natural advantages and vigorously develop the tourism service projects. The tourism service projects of Tianmen villa and Yulong Hotel, which are integrated with tourism, catering, leisure and vacation, have been introduced and built. The community residents have also set up a number of restaurants with seafood and wild flavor. The local young residents also learn foreign languages and tour guide knowledge, and invest in the tourism service industry of Laoshan Scenic spot. In 2004, the total economic income of the whole community was 36.4 million yuan, with a per capita income of more than 6241 yuan.

Community characteristics

All the communities of Liuqing River are close to the mountains and the sea, with beautiful scenery and beautiful natural environment. There is a "Tianmen stream" in the territory. The stream is deep and densely forested. There are two mountains at the source, both of which are stacked by huge stones. It is called the East and West Tianmen cone. The East Tianmen cone is small and sharp, the West Tianmen cone is thick and sharp, and the two cone tips are straight to the sky. Entering Tianmen, there is a temple, called Tianmen houmiao, which is dedicated to the Jade Emperor. The original three main rooms and the East and West chambers have been destroyed due to disrepair for a long time. Now only one surnamed Ji is here to watch the mountain and protect the forest. There is a Pingwa at the middle end of Tianmen stream. It is said that a scholar once built a house, cultivated land, studied and practiced in this place. Later generations called this place "study WA". Now there are still some sites.

Here the most distinctive number of coastal fishing platform. The community is surrounded by huge rocks, which are good places for fishing. The famous fishing platforms include Rooster stone, Xiaonanshan, taibizi, caokou, Laokang, fu'ao stone, shallow water, frog stone, etc. The "old Kang stone" under the Baoyu island community is large and flat. More than a dozen people can put their poles to fish together. There is a very hidden cave under it. Only when it is close to the cave can we find that the cave is divided into two chambers, which can accommodate dozens of people. It is said that during the Anti Japanese War, the residents of the community hid in this cave in order to avoid the Japanese raids, so that they could save their lives. Today, fishermen can spend the night here after fishing.

Liuqinghe community has two pebble beaches, the big one is called xiaoxuanzi, with a radius of nearly 400 square meters and shallow water. The small one is called big whirl, with a radius of nearly 300 square meters and deep water. Every time the flood season falls, local residents come to the sea with baskets to collect shrimps, crabs, starfish, sea urchins and all kinds of conches, and occasionally sea cucumbers, octopus and abalone. On some large pebbles, people can collect oysters, seaweed, frozen vegetables, Porphyra, wild vegetables, cauliflower and other marine plants. In particular, oyster meat can be used to make dumplings. The taste is extremely delicious. The frozen vegetables can be boiled into cold powder, which is also a good dish for drinking.

On the lush abalone Island, a little dragon king temple was built. The temple is 60 cm high and more than one meter wide. The top of the temple is chiseled by a whole block of granite, and the inside is for the throne of the Dragon King. On the sixth day of the first month of each year, fishermen in dongmaiyao, ximaiyao and Dang communities beat gongs and drums, burned bamboo sticks and offered incense to pray for a safe voyage and a good harvest of seafood in a year. It once became a small temple fair for residents of the community.

Social work community attaches importance to the construction of spiritual civilization. In order to improve the living environment of community residents, in 1988, it invested 3.6 million yuan to build 4400 square meters of residential buildings, renovated more than 1000 meters of river dams, and hardened all the main roads into the community and streets in the community; collectively invested more than 600000 yuan to handle social endowment insurance for community residents; subsidized 100 yuan for each community resident to install cable TV; and demobilized veterans in the community except the superior In addition to the reward, each person will be given an additional subsidy of 1000 yuan per year; gifts will be sent to visit the elderly and children on every "old people's Day" and "children's Day"; good achievements have been made in family planning and public security, and they have been praised and rewarded many times.
