Aoshan

Aoshan mountain is an important part of the great Qinling Mountains, and also the highest peak in qingfengxia Forest Park, with magnificent alpine meadows and Quaternary glacial relics. Because of the long time, no supply, and the changeable weather, it is easy to get lost in the outdoor circle. It has a long reputation, and its difficulty and intensity are second to none in China.

Aoshan

Aoshan is the main vein of Qinling. In ancient times, it was called chuishan and Wugong mountain. It was separated by paomaliang and baxiantai from east to west. It was also called xitaibai. The main peak is 3476m above sea level, and the highest peak is maizaoling, 3520m above sea level. It is the second independent peak of Qinling in Taibai.

Aoshan, located 25 kilometers southeast of Taibai County, Baoji City, Shaanxi Province, is the birthplace of Shitou River, the first tributary of Weihe River, and Hongyan River (Guochuan River), the second tributary of Hanjiang River.

Aoshan is located in the west of Taibai Mountain and Taibai County in the middle part of Qinling Mountains, 33 ′ 56 N and 107 ′ 25 E. It is 49 kilometers away from Taibai County in the North (Taiyang highway section). At an altitude of 3475.9 meters, it is another commanding height in the west of taibaiba Xiantai, the main peak of Qinling Mountains. Therefore, it is also called xitaibai. It is the western end of Taibai girder, the main ridge of Qinling Mountains. Together with paixiantai, the main peak of Taibai Mountain, it forms the towering Aotai girder, the second peak of Shaanxi Province. It is also the most primitive area in the Qinling Mountains. There are many kinds of animals and plants. The stone sea remains are all over the hillside, and the mountains are covered with clouds. It is a great place for outdoor sports lovers to travel. It is said that Sun Simiao, a famous doctor of Tang Dynasty, lived in Mount bai'ao of Western Taibai for many years, studied medicine and wrote books.

The origin of the name of the mountain

It is said that in ancient times, Nu Wa refined five colored stones to fill the sky, and the broken Ao was enough to set up four poles. At that time, the flood in China was rampant, mutual impact, continuous disasters, earth shaking, and unstable ground maintenance. Shenao, the ninth son of the Dragon King of the East China Sea, gave his four feet to set up the four poles, but he was unable to swim and crawl from then on. Nvwa recited the merit of Shenao's foot breaking, and condemned the foot breaking in the center of Shenao's Town, which divided the north and the south. From then on, the weather was smooth, the water flowed eastward, and the ground was stable. Since then, Aoshan has become a majestic Dragon Ridge across the land of China.

Mountain features

On November 10, 2009, in the national top ten "non famous" mountain selection activity organized by China National Geographic magazine, ten Xiushan Junfeng, which is suitable for tourists to visit, but not well-known, stand out in the selection of experts, netizens and readers, and Aoshan is one of them.

Like Taibai Mountain, it attracts countless explorers with its charming and unique scenery. When you walk into Aoshan, standing on the top of the mountain with an altitude of more than 3400 meters, you can see 40 Li paomaliang. In this pure natural ecological area, you can feel the sunshine and air of Aoshan, listen to the singing, breathing and sounds of nature of Aoshan, which is the call of ancient times. My dream has been drunk in Aoshan's life. The colorful sunset at the top of Aoshan is just the "plateau red" of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau; the pure blue sky at the top of Aoshan is just the "Qinghai Tibet blue" of the Qinghai Tibet Plateau. Li Bai, a poet, wrote a five character poem "climbing Taibai peak" with the help of the towering momentum of Aoshan mountain and his admiration for Aoshan mountain. Taibai talks to me and opens the gate of heaven for me. Willing to take the cold wind, straight out of the clouds.... ".

It integrates spirit, beauty, seclusion and beauty. In this beautiful, rich and magical land, there are enigmatic natural landscapes such as "the majestic scenery of Aoshan", "Forty Mile running horse beam", "snow in June", "Xieyu Xiongguan", "taochuan meandering", "Qingfeng ancient temple". The ancient and modern stories of Sun Simiao, the king of medicine, who lived in seclusion in Aoshan and studied Chinese herbal medicine, make this pure land more complicated.

Climbing routes

There are three ways to reach the top of Aoshan mountain: 1. 23 kilometers of Taiyang highway, known as 23 kilometers by local people (starting from Mofanggou, the actual location is about 50 places of Taiyang highway), is the nearest way to climb Aoshan mountain on foot. The altitude is 2245 meters. Generally, it takes one to three days to climb Aoshan mountain from here. Because the intensity is not very strong, it is recommended to walk for one day. The fastest way is about 8 hours, and it usually takes 14 hours. Generally speaking, it is about 65 Li (1430 meters) high at the entrance of the pond. 2. Tangkou, at an altitude of 1750 meters, has a relatively high intensity from then on to Aoshan, with a height of 1900 meters. 3. Kuixing tower, at an altitude of 1100 meters, has a relatively high intensity from then on, with a net height of 2400 meters in three days.

Aoshan directional crossing route is regarded as one of the best six outdoor travel routes in China by domestic travelers.
