Nanwutai scenic spot

Nanwutai is located about 30 kilometers south of Xi'an, with an altitude of 1688 meters. It is the branch of Zhongnanshan mountain. It was called Taiyi mountain in ancient times. It is one of the sacred places of Buddhism in China, and now it is a part of Zhongnanshan National Forest Park. Because there are big platforms, Manjusri, cool and spirit, five small platforms and five small peaks on the mountain, they are called Nanwutai. Nanwutai mountain is precipitous in shape, with overlapping peaks, dense forests and extremely beautiful scenery, However, South Wutai of Chang'an is the most important. There are hundreds of temples on the original mountain. After war, most of them are abandoned, including Guanyin temple, five Buddha Hall, Yuanguang temple, Xilin temple, Shengshou temple tower, etc. Shengshou temple tower was built in the Sui Dynasty, square seven story, 23 meters high. It is said that the Dayan Pagoda was built after this pagoda, which is the earliest existing Pagoda in Xi'an. Located 8 kilometers east of Ziwu town in Chang'an County, about 30 kilometers away from Xi'an, it is rich in medicinal materials, steep mountains and extremely beautiful scenery. Nanwutai, known as Taiyi mountain in ancient times, is one of the famous Buddhist holy places in China. There are five peaks of Qingliang, Wenzhu, Xianshen, Lingying and Guanyin on the mountain. It is named Nanwutai because it is located in the south of Wutai Mountain (Yaowang mountain) in Yaoxian County, Shaanxi Province. The natural scenery of Nanwutai is quite good. From the foot of the mountain, the five peaks are arranged like a penholder. It seems that they are close at hand. It's 12.5 kilometers from Zhugu mountain to Datai. The mountains are heavy and the waters are restored. There are many dangerous peaks and rocks. The waterfall of flowing water and stone, the lampstand of solitary peak, the rhinoceros stone, the Guanyin platform, the Lingying platform, and the tiger rock are picturesque and beautiful. It can be called the "Museum of tectonic landforms". There are nearly a thousand kinds of plants in the mountain, including "special living fossil" plants, ornamental treasures such as Aesculus chinensis, wangchunhua, etc. it can be called a vast botanical garden and a living root carving Museum.
