China Stone Garden
"Zhonghua stone garden" is located in the north of Jinnan District of Tianjin Outer Ring Road (Shuanggang Town section of Jinnan District). It was built in 1995. It is an ornamental stone garden with fresh cultural atmosphere and strong modern characteristics, which was invested nearly 470 million yuan by Mr. Zhang Baoshu, an architectural engineer who participated in the top ten architectural battles in Beijing in 1958. It covers an area of more than 100 mu, about 667 square meters. The garden is named "Zhonghua stone garden" for its collection of a giant Lingbi stone similar to the territory of China.
It was officially opened to the outside world in May 2001. In June 2001, it was approved as an AA grade scenic spot by the State Tourism Administration. In July 2001, the "China stone garden" was awarded the title of "the largest stone garden built by individuals" by Shanghai Guinness world. The exhibition hall in the park was named "Tianjin popular science education base" by the Municipal Science and Technology Commission.

The origin of the name
Zhonghua stone garden is named after a piece of Lingbi stone which is similar to the territory of China. The stone weighs 3 tons and has a unique shape. Its color is like ink, its sound is like jade and its magic craftsmanship. It is a unique and rare stone in China. In the Chinese stone garden, the perfect combination of European architectural art and Chinese stone culture can be said to be an integral whole, elegant and natural. In the garden, there are also many landscapes, such as stone forest close-up, thousand layer silk hanging, lotus waterfall, unique cave and so on, which are poetic and picturesque.
architectural composition
With the support of the governments of Hexi and Jinnan districts, a 40000 square meter "Chinese stone garden" has been built in 1997 to the south of Weishan road in Hexi District. There are six European style buildings and a lake area of more than 20000 square meters in the park. There are nine physical buildings in the park, with a building area of about 11000 square meters. Among them, there are six Tibetan stone museums with different styles, named as "tingshixuan", "qishiguan", "wushizhai", "shiquandong", "zangling Pavilion" and "reverie tower". There are also four landscapes of "close-up of stone forest", "thousand story silk hanging", "Lotus waterfall" and "unique cave". There are also celebrities, famous paintings, root art, wood carving and other fine arts. The second phase of the project is to expand another 40 mu to develop large-scale recreational facilities or European style building towers.
Garden master
Zhang Baoshu, the owner of the garden, is 74 years old. He designed and organized the construction of the landscape. It cost more than 20 million yuan and lasted for 11 years. What's more valuable is the original intention of Zhang Baoshu's garden, which is to gather all the wonderful stones in the world, to show the stone culture of China, to leave a precious stone garden heritage for later generations, to provide a valuable base for Chinese people to appreciate, and to provide a valuable base for popular science education for young people. The spirit of the old man can be called noble and great, and should be respected and praised.

Collection in the park
In these six pavilions, there are thousands of rare and precious stones in China's famous mountains and rivers, East, West, North and south, with a total collection of more than 30000 rare stones, dinosaur eggs, shells, minerals, etc.
In the fossil exhibition area of tingshixuan, there are parrot billed dinosaur fossils and dinosaur egg fossils that lived 67 million years ago, trilobite fossils that lived 570 million years ago, as well as Sinian horn fossils, aquatic lizards, Chinese sturgeon and Nautilus. There are more than 1000 pieces of strange stones and many collections in the museum. Shiquan cave looks like a mountain, but inside it there is another cave. It's like walking into a natural stone flower cave. It's deep and steep, with grotesque rocks. There are various kinds of stalactites, various kinds of strange stones and various kinds of root and wood carvings on display in the cave. In addition, there are art creation base, mainly used for art collection, exhibition and appreciation; library, mainly used for collection, arrangement and preservation of all kinds of cultural books; Xiangxie Castle wedding planning hall, used to undertake European wedding ceremony, wedding photography, large-scale activities; Xiangxie Castle Hotel, mainly engaged in high-end catering enterprises; the garden is surrounded by clear water, fish flying shallow bottom Water lilies fill the pond for tourists to have a rest.
Significance influence
Since its opening, Zhonghua Stone Park has always adhered to the working attitude and style of promoting socialist cultural construction, which has aroused wide attention from all walks of life. The leaders of the city visited the Chinese stone garden many times. Li Shenglin, Nie Bichu, sun Hailin and Wang Dehui, the former mayors, Xiao Deyuan and Liu Shengyu, the deputy secretaries of the municipal Party committee, Lu Huansheng and Yu Haichao, the deputy mayors, Xing Jun, the director of the Municipal Organization Department, Shi Jian, Li Zhendong and Xiao Yuan, the veteran comrades, and Wang Xuezhong, the famous calligraphers, all visited the stone garden and gave them high evaluation and full affirmation.
Visiting the Chinese stone garden is like browsing a three-dimensional Encyclopedia of Chinese stone culture. It integrates geology, mineral resources and biology, and integrates history, geography and humanities. It is the second classroom for young people to carry out quality education. It is also an ideal place for painters and artists to sketch and express their feelings for mountains and rivers. Zhonghua stone garden was also honored to be designated as a popular science education base by Tianjin Science and Technology Commission, and was approved as an AA level scenic spot by the National Tourism Administration in June 2001. In July of the same year, it was selected as the largest stone garden in the world by Guinness headquarters in Shanghai, and was rated as the largest stone garden built by individuals.
