In the Ming Dynasty, Jieshi village had dozens of wells, many of which were well preserved and used by villagers. Water wells can be divided into three types according to their uses: domestic water, agricultural water and temple water. Jieshi village is not only a Jingyang Village, but also an ancient village with a long history and beautiful legend. Jieshi village was formerly known as "Sancha Village". I don't know from which dynasty, historical changes have taken place here. Sancha Village disappeared. Later, according to the numerous huge stones around the village, people took "Li Shi" as a monument and "Wo Shi" as a tablet“
In other words, it was renamed Jieshi village.
Jieshi village is also a village with red history. During the Anti Japanese War, Jieshi village was an anti Japanese model village. Later, it became the long-term residence of the 10th regiment of the Jin re Cha army. The village has a long history. The East, West, South and north of the village are respectively connected by Mu Zi mountain, Ping Zhao mountain, sister mountain and Yushi mountain. The East-West middle street is 200 meters long, and six north-south hutongs crisscross the main street. The well preserved Ming and Qing ancient residential courtyards are scattered among them, and all kinds of furnishings and carvings in the courtyards keep the simple style of Ming and Qing Dynasties
There are 59 courtyards in the village, including 18 quadrangles, 27 Sanhe courtyards and 14 Erhe courtyards. Most of these residential buildings have hard mountain roofs, with high scorpion tails, exquisite grass bricks, smooth plates and multi-layer tiles. Exquisite brick carvings, wood carvings, painted decorations and ink inscriptions can also be seen everywhere, exuding a simple and profound cultural charm.
There is also a monument to rebuild Shengquan temple and a dragon king temple. The flower bowls and dishes of Ding kiln of Jin Dynasty, the bronze mirrors and lamps of Chinese Zodiac unearthed from gaojiafen have been collected by the District Museum (now Yongdinghe Culture Museum).

It has always been called "jiulongkou". The stream outside the village passes through the village from west to East, forming a pattern of mountains surrounded by water. The magnificent landscape of "water lake and deep pool" in "Jieshi eight sceneries" is also formed. In Jieshi village, there are also three ancient locust trees over one thousand years old, which belong to grade I and grade II ancient trees listed in Beijing. The clay Dragon King, Lei Gong, Yu Shi, Feng Po and Dian Mu are worshipped on time, as well as wooden statues of green dragon, white dragon and black dragon. When the weather is dry, people move the statues to the village and offer them in tents in order to have a good weather and a good harvest. Not far from the temple is a dry river with huge stones scattered in it, which constitutes a special landscape in the village. On both sides of Jushi River, there are dense locust, walnut and apricot trees.
Longwang well
Longwang well is located in front of Longwang temple. It is called "Longwang double well" together with hanjiajing. The water level of the well is higher than the bottom of the ditch beside the well. No matter how much water is pumped, the water level will not drop. It is the source of villagers' life. It is said that after the Longwang temple was built, an old man with white beard asked the villagers for water in his dream and pointed out that there was water in front of the temple. The next day, when the villagers dug it, they found water less than two feet deep. This is the Dragon King well.
Watercourse painted stone
The stones scattered in the river, after the baptism of wind and rain, washed by the river, now become mellow and gentle. Inspired by the profound historical and cultural heritage of Jieshi village, the artists try to interpret the beauty of Jieshi with simple and abstract lines in the form of painting, praise the rhyme of Jieshi, give ordinary stone color and life, and add new creativity and vitality to the ancient village. The most famous six fairyland of Jieshi village is the most incisive interpretation of Jieshi village's personality of "Xianyin and city" and "outstanding people".
Han Jiajing
Hanjiajing, one of the most representative ancient wells in the village, has a history of more than 200 years. Well water is clear and mellow, feeding generations of simple and kind Jieshi people. Han Jiajing's posterity is trying to understand the "Dao Zhi Jian" behind the Zhouyi scriptures and hexagrams, and the hexagram images are also carved beside Han Jiajing. The "image of vigorous growth" is not only about "water", but also about "human".
Shauk headquarters
In Jieshi village, there is a courtyard. The sign at the gate says: Xiaoke headquarters. General Xiao Ke once lived in this courtyard as the commander of the March, which shows that Jieshi village is an important revolutionary base during the Anti Japanese War, and also a very important red historical Memorial.
Wang Jiajing
Wangjiajing was originally used by Wangjia family, which has a history of more than 300 years and has been used by villagers. In summer, the well water is cool and delicious. In winter, the heat at the well head is misty. It is really a high-quality water source. It is used as a public well by villagers.
Guanjing
In the 1950s, when the village suffered from drought, it was inconvenient for several households without wells to fetch water from other villagers' homes, so they spontaneously raised funds to dig public wells, hence the name.
Sophora japonica in Dingcun
There are two towering ancient trees in Jieshi Village -- "Ding Cun Huai" and "No.2 Huai", both of which are more than 1000 years old. The ancient locust tree is a national "first-class ancient tree", which has a history of more than one thousand years. It is magnificent and beautiful, blocking the sky and the sun. There is a saying that "these two locust trees are the geomantic omen of the village for a thousand years", which is the treasure of the ancient village. It is said that during the period of Chongzhen in the late Ming Dynasty, when the world was in chaos and the drought happened, the ancient pagoda tree appeared. She came down to the world as a fairy and disguised as a village woman to help the victims. In order to save more lives, she turned her leaves into food. The villagers felt deeply that she was so kind that they took it as the "Dingcun pagoda tree". Therefore, there is an unwritten rule in the village that it is forbidden to break the branches of two ancient locust trees, and children are not allowed to go up the tree to pick out birds, so as not to disturb the immortal family, or they will be destroyed.
Sophora japonica
This locust is also called "Dingcun locust" and named "Erhuai". "Erhuai" is spiritual. Over the years, the villagers have been devastated by strong winds for several times, but they have not been hurt at all. In 1987, the ancient locust caught fire unexpectedly, and the villagers worked together to put it out. Instead of losing its vitality, the locust became more and more prosperous. According to this, the theory of Shenshu can be proved. Since then, there has been an unwritten rule in the village: it is forbidden to break the branches of the ancient locust trees, and children are not allowed to pick up birds from the trees. It is necessary to protect the ancient locust trees as well as the sacred trees.
