Huashi Gorge
Huashi gorge is the first dangerous pass on Ganchuan road in Dangchang county. It is also the throat of Yinping road. In ancient times, Huashi pass was set up and heavily defended. Huashi gorge is divided into two Gorges.
Dahuashi gorge is 25 kilometers long, from Dengqiao to Beikou in the north and to the two estuaries of Minjiang River into Bailong River in the south. In the gorge, the valley is deep and the flow is rapid, the peaks on both sides enter the clouds, the mountains and rocks are high, the roads are tortuous, and the ruins of the ancient plank road on the cliff can be seen everywhere.
Xiaohuashi gorge is a section of dengdeng bridge in dahuashi gorge, which is also the most dangerous section, with a length of 2.5 km. The Minjiang River from the north, like an angry dragon, rushes into the gorge, slaps the bank and rocks, thrusts left and right, churns and roars, with rolling waves and splashing spray, thundering and shaking the sky and the earth. The towering peaks on both sides of the Strait are like cliffs. The walls are thousands of feet long. Groups of red billed ducks and swallows are flying in and out of caves. One or two golden eagles are circling in the air. Walking into the gorge, one can't help but think of Li Bai's poem "the six dragons return to the sun on the top, the rushing waves return to Sichuan on the bottom, the yellow crane can't fly yet, and the ape and oyster are anxious to climb." it really feels like they have no way out and can't fly.
