Dahuabei is located in Baiyanhua Town, wulateqian banner, Hetao Plain, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. It is said that Dahuabei is named after the birch trees on the back of the mountain. Because of its precipitous and Shaanxi Huashan comparable, it also got the name of "Xiaohuashan". Dahuabei is the highest peak of Wula mountain, with an altitude of 2322 meters. Because Dahuabei is hidden in Yinshan Mountain, with few people and well preserved natural landscape, it has the reputation of "natural park". With the discovery of birch background view, it has been approved as a national forest park by the State Forestry Administration, and has become a tourist attraction in Hetao area.

Dahuabei is located in Wulashan National Forest Park, adjacent to National Highway 110 and Baolan railway in the south, near the Yellow River, facing Ordos City, Wuliangsuhai in the west, Wulat grassland in the north and Baotou City in the East.

Dahuabei is rich in fruit resources. Tourists who want to shop here can buy Hetao melon, sunflower, black melon seed, apple pear, watermelon, cashmere goat, medlar, Gobi red camel, flax, Hetao Chinese cabbage, Cistanche deserticola, etc. to take home as tourism gifts.

Dahuabei has three scenic spots, covering an area of 10000 hectares, with more than 70 scenic spots. Geography

There are forests in the valley, mainly birch poplar mixed forest, with the distribution height of 1600-2100m; Platycladus orientalis, juniper, juniper, Ulmus pumila, Salix mandshurica mixed forest, with the distribution height of 1200-1600 M. The forest coverage rate is 27.75%. There are mountain eluviated cinnamon soil and typical cinnamon soil under the forest. Above the forest line are meadow steppe and mountain meadow steppe soil; below the forest line are dry steppe and mountain chestnut soil; on the South and West slopes of the mountain range are desert steppe and brown calcareous soil. Dahuabei in Wula mountain is the main forestry base in western Inner Mongolia. Goats are the main pastures in mountainous areas. Every year, the pastures go up the mountain after returning to green, and return to the foothills for winter after autumn.

Dahuabei rocks are mainly schist, gneiss, marble, quartzite, granite, sandstone and conglomerate. Because of the large rise of the axis of the mountain range, the ridge is narrow and dangerous. On the south slope of the mountain range, there are obvious fault cliffs overlooking the Yellow River, many gullies, and a series of alluvial fans and three terraces at the foot of the mountain. There are abundant species of wild animals, including 4 species of national first-class protected animals and 20 species of second-class protected animals, mainly including snow leopard, Golden Eagle, jade belt sea eagle, Mongolian gazelle, lynx and vulture. The wild animal resources increase the natural landscape and enrich the natural interest.
