Historical legend
Version one
It is said that a long time ago, there was no mountain in Tieling, but there was a qilin River in the east of the city. On the west side of the river lived a father and daughter named Hao, who lived by fishing. One evening, father and daughter came back from fishing and met a gang of robbers. The robber knocked down the old man and robbed Hao NV. At the critical moment, a warrior named Chai Yi came forward to kill the robber and save Hao NV. Unexpectedly, an undead robber flew out a poison dart and stabbed the samurai in the left arm. The samurai painfully pulled out the poison dart and killed the dying robber. Hao's father and daughter took the samurai home and took good care of them. From then on, three people live a happy life together.
Three years later, one day, the Qilin river suddenly became windy and flooded. A Taoist said that there was a dragon in the river making trouble and harming the people. After hearing this, Chai Yi was filled with righteous indignation and determined to fight against the dragon and get rid of the harm for the people. Chai Yi came to the river and, with the help of Hao's father and daughter and the whole village, jumped into the river to fight with the dragon.
About half an hour later, the river was calm. The dragon was cut into two parts and died in the river, but there was no sign of Chai Yi. Only Chai Yi's hat was left on the bank. Hao's father and daughter and the villagers buried the dragon on the spot, and buried Chai Yi's hat on the south side of the dragon. Later, a mountain gradually grew up in the place where the dragon was buried. People named it Longshan. There was a passage in the middle of Longshan. The northern section was called Longshou mountain, and the southern section was called Longwei mountain. There is also a high mountain where Chaiyi's hat is buried. People call it Maoshan. To commemorate and appreciate Chaiyi, people renamed Qilin River Chaihe.
Version 2
It is said that long, long ago, there was no Longshou mountain here. Chai River was not called Chai River, but Qilin river. The Dragon King of Qilin river has a daughter named XiaoLongNu. She is lively, lovely and very beautiful. She is famous far and near. When it was time to talk about marriage, Liaohe Dragon King asked wuguipo to be the matchmaker, and took precious gifts such as pearls, agates, gold and silver to his son, Liaohe dragon.
The tortoise matchmaker went to the Dragon Palace on the Qilin River and offered a bride price to explain her intention. On the one hand, the Dragon King of the Qilin River saw that the bride price was rich; on the other hand, he thought that the Dragon King of the Liaohe River was powerful, so he agreed. After seeing off the tortoise matchmaker, the Dragon King of Qilin river called his daughter, XiaoLongNu, and said that he betrothed her to Liaohe Dragon King's son, Liaohe Xiaolong. But Xiao Longnu resolutely disagreed. Because XiaoLongNu heard that Liaohe Xiaolong was idle, flirting, eating, drinking, whoring and gambling. It's no use persuading the Dragon King of the Qilin river. Persuading the skin can't persuade the flesh. Little dragon girl is determined to find her own husband.
On this day, little dragon girl turned into a fisherman girl, carrying a fish basket in her hand, and walked lightly along the path by the Qilin river. She was going to the market in the south in the name of selling fish. In fact, she was looking for her sweetheart. There are several live fish in the fish basket, and they shake their heads and tail from time to time. She walked through the grass full of wild flowers, through the verdant green gauze, into a forest. The forest is tall and dense, covering the sky and avoiding the sun. Only a narrow line of sky can be seen above the path. As she walked, several masked robbers suddenly jumped out of the woods, snatched the fish basket from XiaoLongNu's hand, picked XiaoLongNu up and ran to the depths of the woods, hoping to do something wrong. Little Dragon Girl yelled "help, help..." At the same time, hand and foot kick to fight
