Cixi's ancestral home is also known as the "hometown of the Queen". Yehenara is an ancient city, which is divided into three parts: shanyanfu City, east city and west city. It was built in the middle of the 16th century. Located in the southeast of Lishu County, Siping City. Yehe is the birthplace of naladai, empress xiaocigao of Nurhachi, and also the ancestral home of empress Cixi in the late Qing Dynasty. Therefore, it is called "the hometown of two generations of queens". Yehe, the Manchu language for "the sun by the river", is one of the important birthplaces of Manchu. In about 1573, qingjianu and yangjinu, the grandsons of chukongge, the leader of Yehe tribe, conquered the surrounding small tribes and built the existing abandoned city on the mountains on both sides of Yehe river. Each city has three walls of wood, earth and stone, and is surrounded by a moat. Inside, there are octagonal towers, which are magnificent. They are rare ancient architectural groups in northern China. Yehedong city site is well preserved. There are many buildings in the city, including Dianjiang tower and beacon tower. In 1995, Yidi renovated yehenala City, which is located on the Dongcheng mountain of Zhuanshan Lake in Yehe scenic spot, covering an area of 10000 square meters and a construction area of 7000 square meters. Surrounded by water, lakes and mountains complement each other. There are archery tower, flagman barracks, Baylor house, Temple of sacrifice, conference hall, Princess building, shaman garden, Chenghuang Temple, etc., which are simple and elegant, representing the architectural style of Manchu and the original appearance of the ancient city. In the 1990s, the 28 episode TV series "Princess Ye he" shot by Changchun Film Studio took this city as the location. In 1981, it was listed as a key cultural relic protection unit in Jilin Province.

The shape of the land opposite and the land it is in is very similar to a turtle drinking water with two probes. The dark green of Pinus tabulaeformis on the ground is a symbol of longevity and peace, which is very auspicious. Now, the lake below has been transformed into a reservoir, becoming the water source of Siping City, but the vegetation is still intact, with green mountains and green waters.

There are many Manchu cultures and beautiful sceneries. It is a 3A level tourist attraction of the state key cultural relics protection unit and a learning base of Manchu culture of Jilin Normal University.

Yehenala city is located on the east mountain of Zhuanshanhu reservoir. It is an antique building complex, and the wind of ancient castle is still strong. The project started in June 1994 and was completed in August 1995. It now covers an area of 10000 square meters, with a construction area of 7000 square meters and a project cost of 7 million yuan.

The scenic spots in the city, such as post station, meeting hall, Princess building, folk custom hall, Queen's hall, Empress Dowager Cixi exhibition hall, Nurhachi exhibition hall, etc., are respectively based on historical materials such as figures, photos, pictures, cultural relics, etc., which show Ye he's history from different angles and deeply show the rich national flavor of Ye he's ancestors.

In the city, there are also scenic spots such as Town God's Temple, sacrificing shrine, Guanyin hall, three temples, terrorist cities, ghost cities, shrines, temples and so on. These scenic spots use the artistic means of sound, light, electricity and other dynamic effects, vividly and vividly recreate the myths and legends of ancient China.

Architectural features

In the ancient city cultural area, there are cultural relics such as East and West City ruins, ancient post station, Jialan temple, Niangniang Temple and Chongwang temple for tourists to visit; Zhuanshan Lake scenic area has beautiful scenery, with 5000 mu of water area, representing the poetic meaning of "mountains and rivers grow in one color" Realm.

The city is dotted with flowers and trees, with the elegant demeanors of Sophora japonica, birch curved trees, green pines and cedars. The Yong road is full of flowers and vitality.
