It is a folk custom garden that gathers and displays Xibo's history, culture and folk customs. Xibo people pay special attention to their own culture and customs.

Xibo folk custom garden is located in Chabuchar County in the middle of Ili River Valley. It is the only Xibo Autonomous County in China. The long history, culture and folk custom of Xibo nationality form a unique tourism feature here.

Here, you can also see the sculptures of two heroes respected by the Xibe people - tubert and kermanga. The sculptures are either shooting or riding, and the life stories and achievements of the heroes are engraved on the platform.

The Xibo folk custom park, with a total investment of 80.49 million yuan, is mainly composed of ancient cultural sites of Jingyuan temple and Xibo folk customs. Jingyuan temple is located in sunzhaqi Niulu, 6 km west of the county seat. It was built in 1892 and is one of the most influential temples in the eight Lama temples of Ili in the Qing Dynasty. It is now a key cultural protection unit at the autonomous region level. It covers an area of 15000 square meters with a construction area of more than 2000 square meters. The symmetrical and proportional layout of the temples, pavilions and terraces are well arranged, simple and natural, and each has its own advantages. The whole temple forms a group of magnificent and harmonious ancient buildings. It is the epitome of the integration of the Central Plains culture into the northwest frontier of the motherland, which fully embodies the architectural art of Xibo people, and it is also the physical witness of the Xibo people and their brothers in defending the frontier and safeguarding the reunification of the motherland.

The museum on the left side of Xibo folk custom garden collects a large number of traditional utensils, books and historical documents of Xibo people since they moved to Yili.

Teahouse is a unique style building in Xibo folk custom garden. The antique interior design is quite innovative, but the most striking one is the Xibo folk song and dance team, which was set up spontaneously by six or seven rural women. In order to inherit and carry forward Xibo folk songs and dances, they invited Ge fengxiao, a retired veteran actor, to guide them. In the absence of clothing and money, these women find ways to overcome it. Now, whenever visitors enter the teahouse, they will perform songs and dances with Xibo style.

Since Chabuchar county is known as "arrow town", archery is indispensable in the folk custom garden. There is a national sports ground in the folk entertainment area, where the archery hall is set up. While trying to pull the bow and arrow, I can't help admiring the ancients: it's good to pull the bow open, how can I aim at the prey? Xibo people are really tough. At that time, Xibo people were famous for riding and shooting, and they were the most courageous of the Eight Banners in the Qing Dynasty.

In the folk custom garden, there are also painted walls reflecting the laboring, celebrating and hunting scenes of the hardworking and brave Xibo people. The characters are vivid, the scenes are grand and very infectious.
