Zhaodong Mosque
Zhaodong mosque was founded in 1912. Before the "Cultural Revolution", there were two mosques in Zhaodong City: one in Zhaodong town and the other in Changwu town. Zhaodong town mosque, built in 1912, by Zhang Baoting as imam, when only the Hui people. Now there is only one acting Imam.

Initial construction

Renovation and reconstruction
After Zhang Baoting took office in 918, he was succeeded by Imam Li Zhongyuan. There were more than 70 Hui people. At that time, the mosque was located in Liufa street in the town, and then moved to the current site. In 1981, the mosque was repaired; after the establishment of Zhaodong city in 1986, the mosque in Zhaodong town was renamed as the mosque in Zhaodong city. In October 1987, a two section building with European architectural characteristics and a mosque in Changwu town were rebuilt at the original site of the temple. It was built in 1912 and located in the northwest corner of Changwu town. At that time, there were only 18 Hui people. In 1934, Ma Deliang presided over the educational administration. After Ma Yu took office in 1955, no one in the temple succeeded the imam, and the temple was dissolved by itself.

Zhaodong mosque covers an area of about 1.2 mu, with a construction area of 566 square meters and a worship Hall of 86 square meters.
