Islamic Association of China

China Islamic Association is a national religious organization of Muslims of all nationalities in China. The venue is located in Beijing. In July 1952, Muslim celebrities such as baoerhan shahidi, Liu Geping, saifuding azezi, Yang Jingren, dapusheng, Ma Jian, Pang Shiqian and Ma Yuhuai launched preparations in Beijing. On May 11 of the following year, the Chinese Islamic Association (hereinafter referred to as the Association) was established. This is the first National Islamic Organization in the history of our country. Its establishment marks the realization of the great unity of Chinese Muslims and builds a bridge between the party and the government and Muslims of all ethnic groups.

Construction purpose

The purpose of the association is to unite and lead Muslims of all nationalities in China to support the leadership of the Communist Party of China and the socialist system, abide by national laws and regulations, and take the road of adapting Islam to socialist society. We should carry forward the fine tradition of Islam's patriotism and love for religion, practice respecting the Lord and loving others, advocate auspicious celebrations for both generations, uphold the idea of peaceful middle way, adhere to the principle of independence and self-management, safeguard religious harmony, national unity, social stability, national reunification and world peace, and make contributions to promoting economic and social development and building a harmonious society

Organization

Educational administration department, International Department, Hajj office, research department, Ministry and office. In order to strengthen ties with Muslims of all ethnic groups in the country and guide the educational work of the association, the association has established extensive contacts with Islamic Associations in all provinces, cities, autonomous regions, autonomous prefectures and counties. The association often sends staff to various places to learn about the situation and help them solve some problems related to Muslim religious life. According to statistics, there are more than 500 Islamic Associations all over the country, with more than 10000 staff members. They adhere to the purpose of serving Muslims wholeheartedly and actively carry out their work. In May 2006, the Eighth National Islamic Congress of China was held in Beijing. The meeting called on the National Islamic circles and Muslims of all ethnic groups to closely unite around the Party Central Committee with Comrade Hu Jintao as general secretary, hold high the great banner of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", adhere to the scientific outlook on development, love the country and religion, keep pace with the times, build a harmonious society, strive for the auspicious celebration of the two generations, and serve the healthy development of China's Islamic cause and the whole country To build a well-off society and a harmonious society, we should strive for the smooth implementation of the 11th five year plan, the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation and the unity and progress of Muslims of all ethnic groups.

Board members

Over the past 50 years since its establishment, the association has held eight national representative conferences. The past presidents are balhan shahidi, Muhammad Ali Zhangjie, IRIAS Shen Yaxi, saliha AnShiWei, and hilarundin Chen Guangyuan. The current president is Yang Zhensheng.

Higher Education

Founded in 1955, China Islamic Economic College is the highest Islamic institution in China sponsored by the association. It is responsible for training a new generation of Imam and Islamic professionals. The college offers undergraduate classes, junior college classes and Imam training classes. The Institute has a large library, which is the only professional Islamic Library in China. It has various versions and manuscripts of Islamic classics and books on philosophy and social sciences.

With the development of the situation, the work of the association has been expanded. The "joint meeting of the president and Secretary General of the all China Association for Iraq" held in Beijing in 1996 highlighted the issue of strengthening the self construction of the association and making efforts to adapt Islam to socialist society. And launched activities to create a model mosque. In 1998, the third session of the sixth Standing Committee held a serious study and Discussion on how to run the Islamic school well and speed up the training of cross century Islamic professionals, and reached a consensus. The association regularly holds the national Koran recitation competition and the Woltz speech competition. At that time, the contestants selected by mosques from all over the country will come to Beijing to participate. Through these two events, the association has promoted the development of Islamic Educational and cultural undertakings in China, and strengthened cultural exchanges with Muslims from all over the world.

Articles of Association

Chapter one

General

Article 1 the name of this association is China Islamic Association.

Article 2 this Council is a national patriotic religious organization of Muslims of all nationalities in China.

Article 3 The aims of this Council are: to assist the government in publicizing and implementing China's policy of freedom of religious belief, to represent the legitimate rights and interests of Muslims of all ethnic groups in the country, to play a role as a bridge; to hold high the banner of patriotism, to carry forward the basic spirit and fine tradition of Islam; to run educational affairs independently, to hold various Islamic undertakings; to actively guide Islam to adapt to socialist society; and to support Islam Under the guidance of Deng Xiaoping Theory and the important thought of "Three Represents", we should adhere to the scientific outlook on development, promote Muslims of all ethnic groups to actively participate in the construction of socialist material civilization, political civilization and spiritual civilization, and strive to build a harmonious society and achieve the goal of building a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way; maintain religious harmony and abide by social norms We should strengthen national unity, maintain social stability, promote and safeguard the reunification of the motherland, and safeguard world peace.

Article 4 this Council shall accept the professional guidance, supervision and administration of the State Bureau of religious affairs and the Ministry of civil affairs.

Article 5 the venue of this association is located in Beijing.

Chapter two

scope of business

Article 6 the main business and tasks of this Council are as follows:

（1） To carry out Islamic educational activities within the scope of the constitution, laws, regulations and policies;

（2） The religious issues concerned by the Muslim people should be interpreted in accordance with the requirements of social development;

（3） Holding Islamic education and training Islamic clerical talents;

（4） To explore and sort out the fine historical and cultural heritage of Islam, to carry out Islamic academic and cultural research, to compile and publish classics and books;

（5） Establish and perfect the internal Islamic institutions
