Shizhiyan

"Shizhiyan" religious site is one of the thirty-six ancient rocks in Qingyuan mountain. Together with "Mitha rock" and "Qianshou rock", it worships the "three Western saints" in the religious circles, namely Amitabha Buddha, Guanyin Bodhisattva and dashizhi Bodhisattva. The religious phenomenon of "three saints in one mountain" like Qingyuan mountain is very rare in China.

In order to reproduce the religious and cultural landscape of shizhiyan, in 2004, shizhiyan of Qingyuan mountain was rebuilt with the help of social funds. After several years of intensive construction, shizhiyan has been completed.

According to the person in charge of the Qingyuan Mountain Management Committee, after the reconstruction, shizhiyan is located close to the mountain, with elegant environment and reasonable layout. The Buddha statues of the "three saints of the west" worshipped by shizhiyan are specially made from Xianyou. They are all carved and chiseled with nanmu, and are 4.2 meters high. "The Buddha statues are made with exquisite craftsmanship and huge regulations, and are expected to become the treasure of Qingyuan mountain.".
