The memorial Pavilion for martyr Li shuoxun is located in the former east school yard of Haikou. It is a national key revolutionary memorial building protection unit. The pavilion was built in 1986. The memorial Pavilion, which faces north and south, is a quadrangle with a height of 6.1 meters. On the horizontal plaque of the pavilion is the inscription of Comrade Wang Zhen: "memorial Pavilion for martyr Li shuoxun". In front of the pavilion is a half length statue of martyr Li shuoxun, which is 1.2 meters high. The base is about 2 meters high. On the front of the pavilion are nine gold characters inscribed by Comrade Deng Xiaoping: "martyr Li shuoxun is immortal.". After the memorial, there is a long corridor with eight marbles embedded. They are respectively engraved with biographies of the martyrs, posthumous letters of the martyrs and autographs written by Zhu De, Nie Rongzhen, Guo Moruo, Wu Yuzhang, Zhang Aiping, Zhou Tudi and other comrades in memory of the martyrs. On the right side of the pavilion is the exhibition room of martyr Li dunxun's life story. It is a national key revolutionary memorial building protection unit.
Li shuoxun, also known as Li Tao, was born in Sichuan Province and participated in the revolution in his early years. When he was Secretary of the Guangdong Military Commission in August 1931, he went to Hainan to guide the armed struggle. Unfortunately, he was arrested after arriving in Haikou. In prison, he was not afraid of violence, bravely fought with the enemy, and died in Haikou east school on September 5 of the same year.

Memorial Pavilion for martyr Li shuoxun, built in memory of martyr Li shuoxun. It is located in Haifu Road, Haikou City, opposite to Wugong Temple (martyr's death site). Covering an area of about 1300 square meters, the pavilion is quadrangular and 6.1 meters high. On the horizontal plaque of the pavilion is Wang Zhen's inscription "memorial Pavilion for martyr Li shuoxun". Ten meters in front of the pavilion, there is a granite carved upper body statue of martyr Li shuoxun.
Li shuoxun Memorial Pavilion is a national key martyr memorial building protection unit, the first batch of 100 patriotism education bases in China, the project of repairing patriotism education base funded by the Propaganda Department of the CPC Central Committee and the central civilization office, and the youth revolutionary tradition education base in Hainan Province. Located at No. 39, xunting Road, Qiongshan District, Haikou City. The management unit is Haikou Museum.
The memorial Pavilion of Li shuoxun martyr was built in 1986. It is generally rectangular and faces south. It covers an area of 6 mu. It consists of four parts: Memorial Pavilion, martyr statue, inscription, stele gallery and exhibition hall. The memorial Pavilion is 6.1 meters high and inscribed with "memorial Pavilion for martyr Li shuoxun" by General Wang Zhen on the horizontal plaque. In front of the pavilion stands a granite statue of martyr Li shuoxun, which is 1.2 meters high. The base is 2 meters high. On the front side is engraved with "martyr Li shuoxun will live forever" inscribed by Deng Xiaoping. On both sides of the base are engraved with "biography of martyr Li shuoxun" written by Li Yimeng and "posthumous letter" written by martyr Li shuoxun to his wife Zhao Juntao. Behind the pavilion is a long corridor with yellow walls and green tiles, inlaid with 10 pieces of marble, respectively engraved with autographs and postscripts written by Zhu De, Jiang Zemin, Nie Rongzhen, Guo Moruo, Wu Yuzhang, Zhang Aiping, Zhou Shidi, Li Yimeng, Li Ruihuan, Liu Huaqing and other leaders in memory of the martyrs. On the west side of the pavilion is the "martyr Li shuoxun's life and achievements exhibition room" inscribed by Zou Jiahua. The exhibition room is spacious, bright and well arranged, displaying a large number of precious pictures, documents and martyrs' relics. Around the pavilion, there are many kinds of flowers and trees that are evergreen all year round and bloom alternately in four seasons. The whole building is solemn, simple and beautiful, and the environment is elegant.

Li shuoxun Memorial Pavilion is located in xunting Road, Haikou City. Personage introduction
Li shuoxun, also known as Li Tao, was born on February 23, 1903 in Qingfu County, Sichuan Province. On August 31, 1931, he served as secretary of the Guangdong Provincial Military Commission of the Communist Party of China. Appointed by the party, he came to Hainan to guide the armed struggle. After arriving in Haikou, he was unfortunately arrested for betrayal by traitors. He was loyal and unyielding. In September of the same year, he died bravely in the east school yard of Haikou. He was only 28 years old. The memorial Pavilion is built at the site of martyr's death, which is composed of martyr's statue, memorial Pavilion, inscription wall and exhibition room. The memorial Pavilion is quadrangular and 6.1 meters high. On the horizontal plaque of the pavilion is the inscription of Comrade Wang Zhen: "memorial Pavilion for martyr Li shuoxun".
Life of martyrs
Li shuoxun (1903-1931), also known as Li Tao, was born in Qingfu county (now Gaoxian county), Sichuan Province. In 1919, he went to Chengdu to study in middle school and actively participated in the patriotic movement against imperialism and warlords during the May 4th movement. He joined the Socialist Youth League in 1921 and was one of the founders of Sichuan Socialist Youth League. He was admitted to Shanghai University in 1923. He joined the Communist Party of China in 1924. In 1925, he participated in the May 30th Movement and was elected president of the seventh and Eighth National Students' Federation. Later, he served as Secretary General of the Shanghai municipal Party Department of the Kuomintang and director of the Political Department of the 25th division of the national revolutionary army. In 1927, he took part in the Nanchang Uprising and served as the party representative and director of the Political Department of the 25th division of the 11th army. Later, he went south with the army and took part in commanding the battle of Huichang in Jiangxi Province and the battle of sanheba in Dapu in Guangdong Province. After 1928, he successively served as Secretary General of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, director of organization, Secretary of the Military Commission of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, Acting Secretary of the CPC Zhejiang Provincial Committee, Secretary of the Shanghai Huxi District Committee, member of the Military Commission of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the Military Commission of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee. He participated in the establishment of the 14th, 15th and 17th armies of the Chinese workers' and peasants' Red Army. In May 1931, he served as secretary of the Military Commission of the Guangdong and Guangxi Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. In August of the same year, he went to QiongYa to guide the revolutionary armed struggle in QiongYa. Unfortunately, he was arrested in Haikou. On September 5, he died bravely in the East school field of Haikou.
