Hainan Museum, which opened in 2008, is the youngest Museum among provincial museums and the only comprehensive modern museum in Hainan Province. It officially opened on November 15, 2008. Like other museums, it is free to visit as usual and closed on Monday. There are 10 exhibition halls in the museum, which fully display Hainan's history, minority culture, intangible cultural heritage and cultural relics, with a total of more than 1000 cultural relics on display.
Although Hainan Provincial Museum is not very famous, and there are not many precious cultural relics, it is much less than other provincial museums. However, I still feel that museums are indispensable places in every provincial capital. Through the visit, you can get a detailed understanding of the history and development of the city, as well as the life and culture of the local people. Those who are interested in history and culture may as well go.
