Temple of Shenwu, Japan

Construction began in September 1935 and completed in July 1936. This building was built to commemorate the 2600 year of emperor Shenwu's accession to the throne (i.e., 2600 years in Japanese annals, equivalent to 1940 A.D.), so it was named "Shenwu hall" after "emperor Shenwu". A few years ago, with the completion of the South Campus of Jilin University, many units of the former Jilin University in the south of the building have been relocated, but the building is still managed by the trade union of Jilin University, which is basically well preserved.
