The former site of the Ministry of people's livelihood of Manchukuo

The former site of the puppet Manchuria Ministry of national health is located at No. 113, Renmin Street (former Stalin Street). It has a two-story building with a rectangular plane and a reinforced concrete structure.

The whole building is F-shaped, with the second floor of the main building, the first floor underground and the main door facing east. On the five steps, there are six columns supporting the overhanging eaves, and a interlayer is set between the overhanging eaves and the four slope roof. Behind the four columns in the middle, the upper part of the door is decorated with a half slope eaves. The second floor is full of arched windows, with double column relief between the first and second floor windows. It is used by Jilin Chemical Design Institute and well preserved.

The puppet Ministry of people's livelihood was reorganized and established by the puppet Ministry of Civil Affairs on July 1, 1937. It was mainly in charge of school education, health care, social facilities, ethics and other matters.
